Looking back on our Servant Leadership & Discipleship Session
📍 July 18, 2026

What a timely reminder for every leader in the body of Christ.

As church leaders, we are not called to lead for recognition, but to serve with the heart of Jesus.

Through the teaching of Pastor Mico Dioneda, we were reminded that true servant leadership is marked by humility, love, integrity, obedience, and faithfulness. These are not just qualities of a good leader—they are the very character of Christ that every servant of God should reflect.

We were also challenged by Pastor Reggie Dioneda through Ephesians 4:1 — "Walk worthy of the calling you have received."

God reminded us that our calling is our ministry.
✓A calling ignored becomes a life misused.
✓A calling delayed is not a calling denied.
✓A calling without surrender becomes dangerous.
✓A calling must be stewarded, not just discovered.
✓A calling is bigger than our comfort.

Because the greatest tragedy is not failure—it is living a life without fulfilling the purpose God has entrusted to us.

As leaders, may we never stop saying "Yes, Lord." May we continue to serve with humility, lead with love, obey with faith, and remain faithful until the very end.

Kaya kapatid, your calling is not a suggestion—it is a summon.

So, WALK IN IT. BUILD IT. FINISH IT.

Even though the Lenten season has passed, the message of the cross still speaks to our hearts. Through their skit and contemporary dance, DFC-NC youths gently reminded us of the greatest love we could ever receive — the love of Jesus who gave His life so we could be saved.

As “Thank You Jesus for the Blood” echoed, it felt like we were brought back to the very heart of His sacrifice — a love so pure, so selfless, so full of grace. It reminded us that what Jesus did on the cross is not just something we remember during Lent, but something we hold onto every single day of our lives.

May we continue to live with grateful hearts; never forgetting that because of Him, we are forgiven, redeemed, and made new.

Thank You, Jesus, for the blood that saved us. ❤️
