Columbian Squires Good Shepherd-Circle 2817 is a youth organization of Knights of Columbus council 6155 based in San Roque Cathedral Caloocan City. This is an organization for 10-17 years old male Catholic but in Good Shepherd-Circle 2817 also has an ladies counterpart called SQUIRE ROSES ( 10-18 female catholics ). Today, we celebrate the 𝟰𝟱𝘁𝗵 𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗺𝗯𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗦𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝗖𝗶𝗿𝗰𝗹𝗲 𝟮𝟴𝟭𝟳.

As we commemorate this milestone, we extend our gratitude to our newest members who have joined us this Columbian year. Their presence has reignited the spirit of the circle, and we are grateful for their commitment to uphold the values and traditions of the organization.

Also, we would like to express our heartfelt appreciation to our Father Prior, Rev. Fr. Jerome Cruz, for gracing us with his presence tonight.

Together, we will continue to promote leadership, character, and fellowship among young men in our community.

Introducing Vince and Brent, our newest recruits who have joined us in our mission to revive the Columbian Squires Circle 2817. Their enthusiasm and dedication have been a breath of fresh air, and we are grateful for their willingness to help us reactivate this important youth organization.

As we embark on this journey, we kindly ask for your prayers to guide us and provide us with the strength and wisdom.

Sir Knight Paul Lindaya has recently accepted the position as the new District K03 Youth Chairman for Columbian Squires.

This role involves supervising and coordinating youth-related programs, and activities for the Columbian Squires in the district K03.

Kuya Paul's extensive background in working with youth has made him the ideal person for this position. He has been an active member of the Knights of Columbus for many years and has dedicated much of his time to mentoring and guiding young servers to become confident, responsible, and well-rounded individuals.

CIRCLE COUNSELORS for CY 2023-2024

Leading as our 𝙎𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙞𝙘𝙚 𝘾𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙨𝙚𝙡𝙤𝙧 is Sir Knight Kento Odanaka, a proven leader who has shown an incredible dedication to serving others. He will spearhead our service projects and encourage our members to become more engaged in the community.

Sir Knight Justin Medina will serve as our 𝘾𝙞𝙧𝙘𝙡𝙚 𝘾𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙨𝙚𝙡𝙤𝙧, a position that focuses on organizing fun and meaningful activities for our members. He brings great creativity and innovation to this role and has planned numerous exciting events for our circle members in the past.

Sir Knight Blademir Lopez, our 𝙎𝙥𝙞𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙪𝙖𝙡 𝘾𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙨𝙚𝙡𝙤𝙧, will guide us in our spiritual growth and journey towards becoming closer to God. He will organize and lead our religious activities, including retreats, prayer services, and community outreach programs.

Finally, our 𝙈𝙚𝙢𝙗𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙥 𝘾𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙨𝙚𝙡𝙤𝙧, Sir Knight Mickey De Guzman, will help us in our efforts to recruit new members and strengthen our existing circle. He will lead recruitment campaigns and organize membership drives to ensure the growth and sustainability of our organization.

In addition to our main 𝘾𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙨𝙚𝙡𝙤𝙧𝙨, we are thrilled to have Sir Knight Kenneth Velasco and Sir Knight Ryan Halili as our assistants in Circle Activities.

We are grateful to have these outstanding Counselors leading us and inspiring us to become better versions of ourselves. Together, we are excited to take on new challenges and achieve great things in the coming days!

The Columbian Squires Circle 2817 Counselors have launched their comeback with a noble initiative called "𝑺𝒖𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒊𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑪𝒐𝒎𝒎𝒖𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒚:
𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑲𝒏𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕𝒔' 𝑴𝒆𝒂𝒍 𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒈𝒓𝒂𝒎". The program aims to promote the Columbian Squires to the community while simultaneously providing a much-needed service to the people in need.

The Circle Counselors would also like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the council 6155 for their unwavering support in the comeback of their youth organization.

Bilang panimula ngayong Columbian Year 2023-2024 ating suportahan ang pormal na paglulunsad ng proyektong magbibigay tugon sa pangangailangan ng ating komunidad. Na may temang:

"𝑺𝒖𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒊𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑪𝒐𝒎𝒎𝒖𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒚:
𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑲𝒏𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕𝒔' 𝑴𝒆𝒂𝒍 𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒈𝒓𝒂𝒎"

Ito ay isang programang maghahatid ng pagkain sa mga kabataang nangangailangan at maitaguyod ng sabay ang pagpapakilalang muli sa ating Columbian Squires.

Ito ay ating gaganapin bukas July 01,2023 sa Covered Court ng Brgy. 17 na dadaluhan ng mga kabataan, sa ganap na ika-2 ng hapon.

Alalahanin po natin ang mga salita ng ating tagapagtatag na si Father Michael J. McGivney, na nag-udyok sa atin na "𝙜𝙪𝙢𝙖𝙬𝙖 𝙣𝙜 𝙖𝙠𝙨𝙮𝙤𝙣 𝙨𝙖 𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙥𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙢𝙥𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙩𝙖𝙮𝙖" (𝙁𝙖𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙞𝙣 𝘼𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣). Gamitin po natin ang pagkakataong ito upang maglingkod sa ating komunidad at magbigay ng tulong sa mga nangangailangan. Sa sama-sama nating pagtutulungan, makakapagbigay tayo ng pagbabago sa buhay ng mga kabataang nangangailangan at maipakalat ang misyon ng Knights of Columbus.

Kuya Paul has officially returned to his position as Chief Counselor.

His extensive knowledge and experience in guiding and mentoring the youth in the organization makes him a valuable asset to the circle. Under his leadership, the Squires have seen tremendous growth and success in their activities and programs.

The Squires is eagerly looking forward to work alongside Kuya Paul once again and benefiting from his expertise and leadership skills.
