Psalm 112:2
β Their children will be mighty in the land; the generation of the upright will be blessed.β
HEART AND SOUL
To SHARE the saving grace of Jesus to people, CONNECT them in the Church fellowship, GROW them into Christ likeness character and COACH them to do the work of the ministry in order to bring glory to God. OUR DOCTRINAL STATEMENT
1.THE HOLY SCRIPTURE
We believe that the BIBLE
is the written and inspired Word of God, withour error (inerrant) in original manuscripts, infallible and the sole and final authority with regards to faith and in all aspects of christian life. It also gives wisdom, direction, comfort and instruction for living a holy life. ( Ps. 19:7, 2 Tim. 3:16-17, 2 Pet. 1:21,
1 Cor. 2:13)
2. THE TRINITY (GODHEAD)
We believe in one true God, undeniably existing in three distinct persons (The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit) . Each person of the triune God is with distinct and unique function, inseparable, equal in authority and possess all divine and supernatural attributes and nature of God. (Gen. 1:26, Gen. 11:7, Deut. 6:4, Matt. 28:19, 2 Cor. 13:14, 1 Jn. 5:7-8)
a)THE FATHER
We believe that God the Father is one of the trinity, coequal with the Son and the Holy Spirit and possesses all the attributes of God. He plans the salvation of man through sending His only Son Jesus Christ for the redemption of sin. (Ex. 3:14, Jn 3:16, 1 Cor. 8:6, Matt. 23:9, Eph. 1:3, Jn. 14:10, Jam. 1:17, )
b)THE SON (JESUS CHRIST)
We believe that Jesus possesses both the attributes of God and Man (Hypostatic Union) . He was conceived through virgin birth by the power of the Holy Spirit. We firmly accept His sinless life, miracles, death on the cross for our sin, resurrection from the dead, ascension and His second coming, which is our blessed hope. Jesus executed the plan of salvation through His death on the cross and His finished work means salvation to those who will believe in Him. (1 Tim. 2:5, Lk 1: 35, Jn. 1:1-14, Rom. 1: 3-4, Lk 24:6-7, 1 Cor. 15:1-8; Phil. 2:6-11, 2 Cor. 5:21, Acts 1:6-11, Heb. 4:15, 1 Thes. 4:16-17 , Jn. 3:16, Jn. 14:6). c)THE HOLY SPIRIT
We believe that the Holy Spirit is the third person of the triune God, who regenerates the hearts of those who believe. He baptizes the believer into the universal Church (Body of Christ). The Holy Spirit infills and empowers the believers through spiritual gifts to do the work of the ministry and to live a godly life. He also seals, guides, teaches, dwells, convicts and helps a believer to know more about Jesus. (Jn 14:26, Rom. 8:26, Acts 2:38, John 16:7-8, 1 Cor. 2:10-12; 6:19; 12:13; 2 Cor. 3:18; Gal. 5:16-26; Tit. 3:5, Eph. 1:13-14, Eph. 4:11-12 , 1 Cor. 12)
3. MAN
We believe that man is a triune being with spirit, soul and body, created in the very image and likeness of God. Man was created with personal fellowship with God but because of sin, man was separated from the presence of God and became spiritually dead and has no capacity to save himself. (1 Thess. 5;23, Gen. 1:26, 1 Thes. 5:23, Heb. 4:12 , Rom. 3:23, Rom. 5:12, Ps. 51:5)
4.SALVATION
We believe that only Jesus saves. He justifies those who place their trust in Him and His finished work on the cross. Salvation is a gift from God through faith and by His grace alone. It is through the regenerating power of the Holy Spirit. Once a person is truly saved He is eternally saved because salvation is not a reward to be earned but a gift freely given. (Jn 1:12, Jn 3:16, Eph. 2:8-9, Rom. 6:23, Rom. 10:9, Jn. 10:28-30, Acts 4:12, Tit. 3:5,Tit. 2:11, Jn. 14:6, Jn. 3:3, Jn. 3:36, )
5.THE CHURCH
We believe that the Church is the bride of Christ to whom He purchased by his blood. People who placed their faith in Christ are automatically became part of universal church (the body of Christ) and must be channeled to the local church for their spiritual accountability as they enjoy fellowship with fellow Christians (Koinonia). (Heb. 10:25, Ps. 133:1)
The Church also given the authority and power to perform miraculous signs, heal the sick , cast out demonic spirits and to win souls and make disciples for Jesus. (Mat. 16:18, Lk 10:20, Mk. 16:17-19, Acts 14:3, Acts 4:30, Mat. 28:19-20)
We also believe in the two ordinances of the church such as the Holy Communion or the Lordβs supper as remembering Christ sacrifices for us and water baptism as a step of obedience to Christ. (1 Cor. 11:17-34, Mat. 3:13-17, Rom. 6:4, Mat. 28:19, Acts 2:41, Acts. 18:8,
