Agape Evangelical Church A caring, loving, and teaching family of God where you will know more of Him and desire to love Him. OUR CORE VALUES

Every church has its own set of values.

OUR MISSION
To glorify God by proclaiming Christ’s message of salvation, love, and truth and encourage people to live a life of obedience and surrender to Jesus Christ.
“Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.” Matthew 28:19-20

OUR VISION
Our vision is to see a

community of genuine followers of Jesus Christ, glorifying God by meeting together, edifying each other, spreading and living God’s message of salvation, love, truth, and obedience. OUR GOALS
To provide a community where fellow believers can gather and conduct their God-given ministries to reach out to the people who need God in their lives;
To provide a venue of worship for the Christians in the community to grow in faith and truth;
To serve as sanctuary for the people in the community needing spiritual counselling;
To provide free quality primary education and biblical instruction for the children of its members and the children in the community. Part of what unites Agape is our common set of values that help guide us with our priorities in our walk with God. A – Absolute Love of God’s Word
G – God-centered Living
A – Active Family Discipling
P – Participation in Christ’s Ministries
E – Educating the Community

OUR STATEMENT OF FAITH

WE BELIEVE
In the one true God Who is eternally existent in three persons: Creator, Redeemer, and Sustainer. The one true God Who is sovereign, holy, infinite, unchanging, loving, omnipresent, omnipotent, and omniscient. That Jesus Christ, is fully God and fully Man, conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin. He lived a sinless life. He was crucified and He died to pay the penalty of death for our sins. By His shed blood, the Lord Jesus Christ made a perfect sacrifice for sin once and for all and was raised from the dead on the third day. Later He ascended to the Father’s right hand where He is the Head of the Church and intercedes for believers. We believe He is coming again to the Earth bodily and visibly to set up His Kingdom. That the Holy Spirit is God possessing all Divine attributes. He is present in the world, indwelling and sealing all believers the moment they accept Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. He empowers and guides believers to understand and live out their faith in Jesus Christ. WE BELIEVE
That the Holy Bible is the Word of God – divinely inspired, inerrant, and infallible. It is essential for teaching doctrine, for conviction of sin, for correction of error and restoration to obedience, and for training in righteousness so that all of God’s children would be complete and proficient, outfitted and thoroughly equipped for every good work. It is the supreme authority in faith, doctrine, and conduct of all of God’s children. WE BELIEVE
That man is created in the image of God but have sinned and fallen short of God’s glory. We believe that the penalty for sin is death, but God by His grace and love for us has made available the gift of salvation to anyone who believes and accepts Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. That Salvation is given by God’s grace and cannot be earned through good works, baptism, church membership or any other means (Ephesians 2: 8-9). Good works are not the means of salvation but are the presumed product in the life of a true believer in Christ. Every believer is expected to lead a life of obedience to God, of which good works are expected. That salvation is given freely by God, and once accepted, will never be taken away. We believe that the resurrection of Jesus Christ has overcome the power of death and gives assurance of life after death. WE BELIEVE
That each Christian is mandated to go forth and tell the Good News of salvation to all mankind, and to lead them to decide to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and live a life of obedience to God. That baptism is an act of obedience of every Christian. It is a way to publicly declare our faith and obedience to God. That the universal Church is not an organization or building, but an organic group composed of all Christians - individuals who have decided to surrender their lives to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. The local church is made up of Christians in a specific community who have decided to abide by said local church’s Mission, Vision, Core Values and Statement of Faith. WE BELIEVE
We believe that marriage is the union of one man and one woman as biologically determined at birth in a single, exclusive union. (Gen 2:18-25.) We believe that God intends s*xual intimacy to occur only between a man and a woman who are married to each other. (1 Cor 6:18; 7:2-5; Heb 13:4.) Because God has ordained marriage and defined it as the covenant relationship between a man, a woman, and Himself, Agape will only recognize and solemnize marriages between a biological man and a biological woman who are committed to follow Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. WE BELIEVE
That God created each person as biologically male or biologically female. These two distinct, complementary genders together reflect the image and nature of God. (Gen 1:26-27.) Rejection of one’s biological s*x is a rejection of the image of God within that person. This statement of faith does not fully represent the extent of our beliefs. We believe that the Bible itself, as the inspired and infallible Word of God that speaks with final authority concerning truth, morality, and the proper conduct of mankind, is the sole and final source of all that we believe.

"So then, let us [who minister] be regarded as servants of Christ and stewards (trustees, administrators) of the mysteries of God [that He chooses to reveal]. In this case, moreover, it is required [as essential and demanded] of stewards that one be found faithful and trustworthy. (1 Corinthians 4:1-2)

We praise You, Lord for Your faithfulness to Your children. You have never let us down. Your grace and forgiveness fill us with joy and hope. In return, we hope to glorify you by being faithful to You and Your teachings, dear God. May others, and those who follow behind us, see in us your light and grace as well.

"Now may the God of peace— who brought up from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great Shepherd of the sheep, and ratified an eternal covenant with his blood— may he equip you with all you need for doing his will. May he produce in you, through the power of Jesus Christ, every good thing that is pleasing to him. All glory to him forever and ever! Amen." (Hebrews 13:20-21)

Sapagkat sa atin ay ipinanganak ang isang bata,
sa atin ay ibinigay ang isang anak na lalaki;
at ang pamamahala ay maaatang sa kanyang balikat;
at ang kanyang pangalan ay tatawaging
“Kamanghamanghang Tagapayo, Makapangyarihang Diyos,
Walang hanggang Ama, Prinsipe ng Kapayapaan.”
Ang paglago ng kanyang pamamahala
at ng kapayapaan ay hindi magwawakas,
sa trono ni David, at sa kanyang kaharian,
upang itatag, at upang alalayan
ng katarungan at ng katuwiran
mula sa panahong ito hanggang sa magpakailanman.
Isasagawa ito ng sigasig ng Panginoon ng mga hukbo. (Isaias 9:6-7)
