Pentecost reminds us that the Church is alive through the presence and power of the Holy Spirit. In times of uncertainty, weakness, and challenge, the Spirit continues to guide, strengthen, renew, and unite us as one body in Christ. Through the Holy Spirit, we are called to live faithfully, worship passionately, love boldly, serve joyfully, and lead courageously as followers of Jesus. 🙏💛

As we continue celebrating our 78th Founding Anniversary Month, we give thanks for God’s faithfulness upon our church through the years. Truly, the Holy Spirit has sustained, guided, and empowered our congregation in every season of ministry and mission. Our anniversary theme, “Love Boldly, Serve Joyfully, Lead Courageously in Building our Future Together,” reminds us that we move forward not by our own strength, but through the power and grace of God working in and through His people. ❤️✨

Today, we also gather for the Celebration of the Holy Communion, coming to the Lord’s Table in remembrance of Christ’s sacrifice, love, and saving grace. In this sacred moment, we are reminded that we are one family in Christ united by His Spirit, nourished by His presence, and strengthened for faithful living and service. 🍞🍷

As we worship together, may our hearts be open to the movement of the Holy Spirit. Truly, through every season, the Lord has remained faithful guiding us, strengthening us, and leading us forward together as one church family in Christ. 💛✨

This coming Sunday, we also joyfully celebrate Pentecost Sunday a special day in the life of the Church that reminds us of the outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon God’s people. Pentecost is a celebration of God’s power, presence, and movement through His Church, empowering believers to live boldly, serve faithfully, and proclaim His love to the world. 🔥🕊️

As we reflect on our anniversary theme, “Love Boldly, Serve Joyfully, Lead Courageously in Building our Future Together,” we are reminded that we cannot fulfill this calling by our own strength alone. It is through the power of the Holy Spirit that we are empowered to love more deeply, serve more faithfully, and courageously follow where God leads us as a church community. 🙏✨

Today, we remember the glorious ascension of Jesus Christ His return to the Father in heaven and the promise that He continues to reign with power, guide His people, and prepare the way for the coming of the Holy Spirit. ✨☁️

Ascension Sunday reminds us that Christ is not absent from us, but continues to work in and through His Church. As His followers, we are called to live faithfully, serve courageously, and share His love and Gospel with the world while we await the fullness of His kingdom. In every season of life, we are encouraged to lift our eyes to Christ, trusting in His promises, His presence, and His continuing work in our lives. 🙏💛

Today is also our Recognition Sunday, a meaningful time for us to celebrate and give thanks for the gifts, achievements, faithfulness, and dedication of the individuals in our church family. We praise God for every student, worker, servant-leader, volunteer, and member whose efforts, commitment, and perseverance reflect God’s grace and goodness. A Blessed and Meaningful Mother’s Day Worship Celebration ✨💐

Last Sunday, May 10, 2026, we gathered together as one church family at Tala United Methodist Church for a beautiful and spirit-filled Worship Service as we celebrated the Sixth Sunday of Easter and honored all mothers and mother figures on this special Mother’s Day celebration. 💛🙏

It was truly a joyful and meaningful time of worship, thanksgiving, and reflection as we gave honor and appreciation to the women who continue to become instruments of God’s love, grace, strength, and faithfulness in their families, in the church, and in the community. Through every prayer, sacrifice, act of love, care, and encouragement, mothers reflect the nurturing and unconditional love of God in our lives. 🌸✨

🌸 As part of our Mother’s Day celebration, we also had a special time of giving flowers and simple tokens to all the mothers and mother figures present during the worship service. 💐✨

Though simple, these gifts were given with love and gratitude as a small expression of appreciation for all the sacrifices, prayers, care, and unconditional love that mothers continuously give to their families and to the church. Seeing the smiles, joy, and heartfelt moments shared during this time truly reminded us of how valuable and cherished our mothers are. 💛

May every flower serve as a reminder of God’s beautiful love blooming in their lives, and may every token symbolize the church’s gratitude for their faithfulness, strength, and dedication through the years. Truly, we thank God for the blessing of every mother and woman who continues to inspire others through their life and faith. 🙏✨

As we look back on this joyful and meaningful celebration, our hearts are filled with gratitude seeing generations of believers gathered together as one family in Christ united in worship, love, fellowship, and thanksgiving. These moments remind us that the church is more than just a building; it is a community of people faithfully walking together, growing together, serving together, and sharing God’s love with others. 💛✨

For 78 years, Tala United Methodist Church has become a living testimony of God’s unfailing faithfulness and sustaining grace. Through every season, God has continually raised leaders, workers, families, and ministries who became instruments of His love and mission in the community. Truly, every life changed, every prayer answered, every song of worship, and every act of service reflects the goodness of God throughout the years. 🙌

🎄 Theme: “Handog Liwanag ni Kristo Ngayong Pasko”

As the season of Advent draws us closer to the birth of our Savior, we invite everyone to journey with us in Misa de Gallo / Simbang Umaga—a sacred time of early morning worship, reflection, and renewed faith.

This year, our Simbang Gabi topics will focus on persons and events surrounding the Christmas story, and how these moments become powerful avenues for deepening our personal discipleship journey and strengthening our relationship with Jesus Christ. More than remembering what happened long ago, we will reflect on how God continues to move and transform lives here and now, in the present realities and situations we are immersed in today.

With our theme, “Handog Liwanag ni Kristo Ngayong Pasko,” we are reminded that Christ is the true Light of the world—shining in darkness, guiding our paths, healing our brokenness, and calling us to be bearers of His light to others. ✨
As we receive His light, may it shape our hearts, renew our faith, and inspire us to live as faithful disciples who reflect Christ’s love in our families, communities, and nation.
