Manifesting My Wants or Trusting God’s Will?

Daily Devotion | 08-28-2026

At ayon sa Kanyang Salita, “Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails” (Proverbs 19:21, NIV). Hawak Niya ang lahat — pati future natin — and that is such a comforting truth! Dahil mabuti ang Diyos at alam Niya kung ano ang best para sa atin, we can be assured na kahit blessings o trials, and everything else, are sifted through His hands bago umabot sa atin.

Instead of “attracting” the life you think you want, surrender to the God who knows exactly what you need — at the right time, in the right way, and always out of His perfect love.

LET’S PRAY
Lord Jesus, help me to trust in Your goodness and Your love for me. Let Your will be done in my life. Amen.

APPLICATION
You can plan your future by surrendering it to the Lord. Write down your future goals and ask the Lord for wisdom every day to help you by His guidance, correction, or redirection.

Praying for Others

Daily Devotion | 08-27-2026

A Christian named Mary loves to pray for other people. Ikaw din ba? Do you know people like Mary?

Lahat tayo ay may mga bold prayers. In his letter to the Colossians, the Apostle Paul mentioned a man named Epaphras.

People who pray for us are God’s gift. God is looking for people whom He can use to pray in faith. Just like Epaphras of the New Testament who was called to intercede for the people God placed in his life, you and I can also pray fervently for others. When we allow ourselves to be used by God, something beautiful happens. In the moments we pray for others, God is also comforting us in ways beyond explanation. He teaches our hearts to trust that He is working behind the scenes on our prayer requests. Because He cares and listens to us, we can always come to Him with bold, faith-filled prayers.

LET’S PRAY
What a privilege, Jesus, to know that You are listening to us when we come to You in prayer. Thank You for listening to me.

APPLICATION
Today, ask the Lord to show you the name or face of a family member or friend whom you can bless with a prayer — even if you don’t know exactly what they are going through.

When Triggers Come

Daily Devotion | 08-26-2026

Deuteronomio 31:8

Naranasan mo na bang ma-trigger ang emotions dahil sa random stuff on an ordinary day? You’re going about your day, when suddenly the lyrics of a song you haven’t heard in years — or a certain scent — triggers a painful memory. O di kaya’y gusto mo lang naman mag-morning walk pero nang makita mo ang isang particular bench in the park, you are reminded of someone from your past who’s no longer around. Or maybe you were decluttering, and a keepsake you thought you had long thrown away unexpectedly blurs the present and brings you back to the day you received it.

Hindi mo inaasahan, pero isang seemingly normal moment can open a floodgate of emotions, hidden grief, bottled-up feelings, and suppressed trauma. It affects not only your mood but also brings back all the negativity that comes with those past experiences, reflecting fragments of the buried past. Minsan ay may physical manifestations pa ito tulad ng increased heart rate, sudden headache, dizziness, and tightness of the chest.

When moments like this occur, instead of dwelling on the pain, let us be reminded that God is aware. He is in the business of strengthening us and healing us. He knows every tear and cry for help. He knows exactly what happened, how you dealt with it, where you are now — even if you keep trying your best to deny that those painful things ever happened.

LET’S PRAY
Mahal kong Ama, thank You because I know You care for me enough to build me up again even after being broken. Kapag may mga nakakapagpaalala sa akin ng mga masasakit na pinagdaanan ko, please remind me that You are my safe place. Kayo ang magbibigay sa akin kung anuman ang kailangan ko — whether it is healing, or vindication, or conviction.

APPLICATION
Ano ang triggers mo? Sa susunod na ma-encounter mo uli ang mga ito, ask God to help you realign your heart and mind to His.

The Promise Keeper

Daily Devotion | 08-25-2026

Isaias 60:22

Waiting. Patience. Will it work? Ilan lamang iyan sa mga salita na ating nae-encounter in our daily lives. In seasons of waiting, it can feel forever for some people before an opportunity — or even growth — finally comes. And at times, our patience is tested as we go through various challenges in life.

Nasambit niya, “Jesus, I surrender the results of my college entrance exam. Let Your will be done.”

After that prayer, nagkaroon ng peace at confidence si Jerome that everything will be alright. Katulad niya, we will also face important moments in life. The question is: Where are we focusing right now?

Let us surrender everything to Jesus. He is faithful to fulfill what He has promised in our lives.

LET’S PRAY

APPLICATION
Sa iyong journal or cellphone, isulat or i-type ang mga pangako ni Jesus na makikita sa Bible. Read one every day and believe He is faithful to fulfill His promises.

The Greatest Gift You Can Ever Give

Daily Devotion | 08-19-2026

Have you ever wanted to truly help someone, but felt like you didn’t have much to offer? You hear news of people dying of hunger in another country. Even a neighbor knocks at your door asking for help for their medical treatment, at wala kang magawa.

Nakaka-frustrate kapag gusto mong tumulong pero wala kang maiabot. But an empty wallet doesn’t mean you don’t have anything to give. Sa Acts 3, isang lalaking lumpo since birth ang humingi ng limos kina Peter and John. Peter said they didn’t have any silver or gold to give, but they have the knowledge of God’s healing power. At sa pangalan ni Jesus, Peter boldly declared healing upon the man.

The forgiveness, salvation, and grace we enjoy from God are gifts we did not earn, and we are called to share them.

So share the gospel and the love of Jesus to others. You may not have a million in your bank account, but you can pray. You may not be rich, but you can freely encourage. You may not have much, pero puwede mong i-share ang kung anong meron ka — lend a helping hand, give food, teach someone how to do things, o kahit makinig sa isang kaibigan na kailangan ng mapaghihingahan ng problema.

LET’S PRAY
Jesus, thank You sa salvation, love, and grace na ibinigay Mo sa amin. Help me to see opportunities to share these gifts with others. Teach me to love my neighbor not just through giving, but by offering them the hope found in You. Amen.

APPLICATION
Look through your list of family and friends, and identify one person this week who might need encouragement. Reach out, pray for them, and share a verse or testimony about what Jesus has done in your life.

Kalma Lang, Maglinis Ka Muna

Daily Devotion | 08-18-2026

This means kasi na she’ll be able to take a break from taking care of their children. Finally, she’ll have her “holy time” — cleaning the bathroom and taking a bath.

For stay-at-home moms and working moms with a busy schedule around the house, even taking a bath can be sacred. Ang simpleng paglilinis ng banyo o pagligo can give joy and peace. Bakit kaya? For some people, kapag nakakita silang malinis na banyo, parang may bagong simula.

Sabi sa Proverbs 14:1, “The wise woman builds her house…”

Ang motherhood, and life in in general, ay hindi laging Instagram-worthy. Madalas magulo, mabaho, magastos, magulo ulit. This is the moment to breathe, to think, and to once again experience the fresh grace of God.

Yes, motherhood is messy. For all of us, mothers or not, kapag ang puso ay malinis at puno ng grasya ng Diyos, mas nagiging magaan ang bawat trabaho at mas nagiging masaya ang bawat sakripisyo.

LET’S PRAY
Help us to find joy in the midst of mess para maharap namin ang aming calling bilang ilaw ng tahanan nang may saya at pag-asa.

APPLICATION
When was the last time you let God clean your heart and mind? Ask Him today for renewed strength, joy, and peace as you face a new day.

Advance Mag-isip

Daily Devotion | 08-14-2026

Advance akong mag-isip eh!” Nakakatawa ang ganitong jokes, pero nakakalungkot kung ang mga linyahan ay gaya ng, “Why pay taxes when corrupt officials just pocket them?” “Why bother to help when people are ungrateful?” Or worse, “Why should I believe in God when I can manage by myself?”

The “advance akong mag-isip” logic is best put to use when we think about what would be good for the future. Forward-thinking is beneficial when we see problems as opportunities to learn, find solutions, and innovate. Forward thinkers are visionaries and creative problem solvers. Instead of getting stuck, they are able to think outside the box. And no one excels in forward-thinking more than God.

The Apostle Paul, in Ephesians 2:10 (EHV), says, “For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared in advance so that we would walk in them.” We are God’s masterpiece, a showcase of His power and grace. Even before we were even born, God, through His Son Jesus Christ, made a way for us to be rescued from slavery to sin. Not only that, dahil advance mag-isip si God, He has prepared for us one good work after another to benefit ourselves and others. He gives us a sense of purpose and countless promises and reassures us with affirmation. Through Christ, we can do all things (Philippians 4:13) and all our needs are met (Philippians 4:19).

Yes, advance mag-isip si God. Have you asked Him about His good plans for you in the future?

LET’S PRAY
Dear God, open my eyes so I can see the good works that You have planned for me to do. Help me to obey You. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

APPLICATION
Keep a notebook where you can jot down God’s direction for your life and by faith, follow each prompting as He reveals it to you.
