Without God’s presence, the fire eventually dies. 🔥

We can try to sustain ourselves through our own strength, distractions, routines, or temporary highs, but none of those can truly keep the spirit alive.

Kuya CJ reminded us in John 15:5 that apart from Him, we can do nothing.

Prayer is more than a routine; it is our oxygen.
It keeps us connected to the presence of God, strengthens us in difficult moments, and reminds us that our strength has limits, but His never does.

In a world that constantly drains the mind, overwhelms the soul, and exhausts the body, only His presence can truly revive the spirit.
The fire is not sustained by striving harder, but by staying connected to the One who gives life. 🕊️🔥

Not everything that fills you sustains you.
You can feed the body with comfort, the soul with distractions, and still leave the spirit starving.

Our SYD Kuya Aaron reminds us through Matthew 4: 4 that man does not live by bread alone, but by every Word that comes from God. 🥖

We are more than just flesh and feelings, we are spirit too.
In a world that constantly feeds our cravings, emotions, and temporary desires, it’s easy to become full yet still feel empty inside.

Because real life is not sustained by what temporarily satisfies us, but by the Word of God that gives truth, direction, and life.
Whatever you feed consistently will eventually lead your life, so feed your body, guard your soul, but never neglect your spirit. ✝️

The enemy can easily sway our emotions, especially when we’re making decisions but this is exactly where we are called to surrender and let God lead our lives. 🙌

Because of Jesus’ sacrifice, we are no longer bound to pay for our sins; instead, we are given redemption, where our old selves are crucified with Him and we are set free from sin.✝️

So how do we respond to this grace?
Our Asst, SYD Ate Kath reminded us that not just through words or songs, but through a life of surrender—offering ourselves fully to God in service.

True surrender leads to transformation: a renewed mind that turns away from what the world teaches and begins to seek what the Lord desires. In the end, it’s no longer about what we want, but about living a life that reflects His will. 🕊️

The road doesn’t end at the Cross, it leads to the empty tomb.

Through the resurrection, Jesus didn’t just die for us, He rose to give us new life.
Ate Whimcy reminded us that we now have a living hope, not just a past salvation.

Sin, death, and despair no longer have the final say.
This is our victory: what looked like an ending became a beginning.
So we don’t just remember the Cross, we walk forward in the light of new life, faith, and purpose, knowing that in Christ, hope is alive. 🕊️

The road to the Cross begins when we realize we can’t lead our lives on our own.

📖 Galatians 2:20 reminds us that it’s no longer about us, but Christ living in us.

Our SYD Kuya Aaron reminded us that in a world that says “do what makes you happy,” we’re called to let go of ourselves, let God lead, and look back at the Cross where we see the cost of our salvation, who we are now, and why we follow Him.

Every decision becomes a direction, and true change doesn’t come from self-improvement, but from full surrender.

This is the start of a new walk: turning away from sin and choosing the path that leads to Jesus, not by our strength, but by faith in the One who loved us and gave Himself for us. ✝️

When God gives you a mission, expect it to be tested. 📖

As young people, we will face doubts, pressure, and opposition, but testing is not failure.
It’s God stretching our faith and shaping our character for greater impact. 🗡️

So how do we prepare for these tests, like students preparing for exams? 📝📝

Ate Hazelle reminded us last Sunday that we must:

1️⃣ Listen — Be attentive to God’s voice and His Word.
2️⃣ Review — Remember His faithfulness and the lessons He’s been teaching you.
3️⃣ Focus — Don’t get distracted by pressure, opinions, or temporary struggles.
4️⃣ Boast — Not in our strength, but in our weakness (2 Corinthians 11:30), because that’s where God’s power is revealed.

Purpose comes with pressure, but testing produces maturity. ✨✨
Stay faithful. Stay committed. God is building this generation for something bigger. 🔥🙏🙌
