Social media is full of people arguing back and forth about the nature of God... but instead of relying on human bias, let's open the Word and let the Bible speak for itself."
Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one." (Deuteronomy 6:4)
This foundational declaration sets the absolute standard for divine truth. Throughout history, human traditions have attempted to complicate Godโs identity with man-made creeds like the Trinity, trying to box the infinite Creator into a multi-person formula. But Scripture demands purity of faith: God is one indivisible Spirit.
When we strip away complex theology and let the Word speak for itself, the idea of a three-person co-equal godhead collapses. Consider these powerful truths:
๐น Isaiah 42:8 "I am the Lord; that is my name; my glory I give to no other..." God does not share His supreme divine identity or split His glory among a committee of three; He stands entirely alone.
๐น Colossians 2:9 "For in him [Christ] dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily." Jesus is not a "second person" of a trinity; He is the physical manifestation, the bodily dwelling of the one and only true God.
When we look to the highest heaven, there is no divided council on the throne... there is only one sovereign King who rules over all creation.
Why Alpha and Omega? This title signifies that God is the absolute totality of existence... the beginning and the final end. If God were a Trinity, there would be three "firsts" and three "lasts," but Scripture insists on one. He is the complete source and the final judge, needing no council of equals to fulfill His divine purpose.
Why a singular Throne? Throughout every vision of heaven given to the prophets, we see one throne and one occupant. God does not sit on a bench with partners; He sits alone, the sole Sovereign, reigning in absolute, undivided majesty.
He is the First and the Last, and He reigns supreme without equal! ๐โจ

๐ "Thus says the Lord, the King of Israel... โI am the first and I am the last; besides me there is no god.โ" (Isaiah 44:6)
