Shared Weight, Shared Joy ⚔️

Team JeDi just concluded its annual team building for leaders led by Pastor Darwin Cuadro and his Primary 12, and after all the extreme challenges and fun they went through, they were left with one realization:

Ministry is only "heavy" when you try to be the hero.
The weight of the mission feels light when you have a team carrying it with you.

We have learned that the true measure of leadership isn’t how much we can handle alone, but how well the work continues when we are not there.

The "Jethro" Reality Check
Even a leader as great as Moses had to be told, "What you are doing is not good."

Taking it all on yourself might look sacrificial, but it isn't sustainable or wise.

We’ve also learned that to serve well, we must first be ministered to, then go out and minister.

And the extreme activities reminded us, kung mapurol ka na, magpahasa ka. If we feel blunt or burnt out, we need to lean into our community to get our edge back (Sharpening the Axe).

We are so grateful for our Kapwa Manggagawa—our co-workers / servants who make the hard work look easy.

To our spiritual family, thank you for carrying the burden together.

Let’s keep winning souls, sharpening our skills, and loving the people God has placed in our care. 🔥
