As you worship together with us, we pray that our hearts will always be filled with gratitude--in good times and bad--ever thankful for God's love and promises. Even at times when we might find it hard to thank God or even to love Him, His love remains steadfast.

Just as the psalmist proclaims in Psalm 45, let us tell God today how much we love Him! "My heart is overflowing with a beautiful thought! I will write a lovely poem to the King, for I am as full of words as the speediest writer pouring out his story." (Psalm 45:1; TLB)

THE DANGER OF PRETENDING
When Hidden Sin Leads to Destruction

Matthew 23:25–28

Isa sa madalas na ngyayari o ginagawa ng isang kristyano ay ang magmukhang/magkunwaring okay, active sa church, naglilingkod, at maayos ang image/pinapakita, ngunit kabaliktaran sa tunay na kalagayan ng puso/kalooban.

Pero pinaalala ni Jesus na ang tunay na kabanalan na nais ng Diyos ay hindi nagsisimula sa panlabas, kundi sa pusong malinis/tapat/totoo sa harap ng Diyos.

1. A clean image cannot hide a dirty heart
Hindi interesado ang Diyos sa panlabas/behavior modification lang.
Ang nais Niya ay heart transformation. Kapag tayo ay nagsuko at nagpalinis sa Kanya ng ating puso, susunod ding magbabago ang labas.
(Matthew 23:25–26)

2.Hidden sin always leads somewhere
Ang pagbagsak/pagkahulog sa mabigat na kasalanan ay hindi biglaan.
Nagsisimula ito sa pagbabalewala ng pakikipag ugnayan sa Diyos sa panalangin at sa Kanyang salita, sa maliliit na compromise, pagtatakip ng kasalanan, at pagtanggi sa pagtutuwid/pagsisisi hanggang sa tumigas ang puso.
(Matthew 23:27–28)

3. God’s love comforts, corrects, and disciplines
Hindi tayo kinokorek/itinutuwid/ini-expose ng Diyos para ipahiya tayo, kundi para iligtas tayo sa kapahamakan.
Ang conviction/discipline ay hindi pagtataboy, ito ay paanyaya na bumalik sa Diyos at sa Kamyang kalooban.
(Hebrews 12:6)

People may only see your appearance,
but God always sees your heart.

Huwag gugulin ang buhay sa pagpapakintab/pagpapaganda ng panlabas habang napapabayaan ang loob/laman ng puso.
We can never hide from God, He exposes sin, to restore/save us.

A transformed heart will always produce a transformed life.

WHEN PRIDE STANDS IN THE WAY
From Defensiveness to Humility

Luke 18:9–14

Minsan isa sa mahirap gawin ay ang pag amin na "Nagkamali ako, kasalanan ko."

May nagbigay ng suggestion, defensive agad.
May nag-correct, ang haba agad ng paliwanag.
May nag-point out ng mistake, may dahilan agad.

Being defensive, rejecting correction/suggestion ay pagpapakita ng pride/kayabangan na ayaw ng Diyos.

James 4:6 ESV
“God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.”

Ang pag-amin ng ating mali o pagkukulang ay hindi tanda ng kahinaan,
ito ay tanda ng pagpapakumbaba at pagiging bukas sa correction at learning na ina-allow ng Diyos sa ating buhay.

3 Truths to be reminded of:

1. Pride makes us right in our own eyes. Kapag defensive tayo, madalas mas inuuna nating protektahan ang ego/pride/image kaysa tanggapin ang katotohanan na makatutulong sa atin.(Proverbs 12:15)

2. Humility pursues growth.
Ang taong mapagpakumbaba ay handang makinig, matuto, at magbago.

Correction is not rejection, most of the time ito ang paraan ng Diyos para baguhin at palaguin tayo. (Proverbs 11:2)

3. Humility opens our hearts to God.
Mahalaga sa Diyos ang pagpapakumbaba at pag-amin/pagtatapat ng ating puso/kalagayan sa harapan ng Diyos.

Ang sabi ng tax collector,“O Diyos, mahabag po Kayo sa akin na isang makasalanan.”

Dito dumadaloy ang Kanyang awa/biyaya sa pag amin ng kasalanan at tunay na pagsisisi tungo sa pagsunod ng tapat sa Diyos. (Luke 18:13–14; James 4:6)

Pride protects the ego.
Humility pursues growth.
Pride closes the heart.
Humility makes us teachable.
Pride says: “I need to prove myself.” Humility says: “Lord, I need You.”

Choosing humility.
Accepting that we're wrong or that we've made a mistake is not a sign of weakness,
it is a sign that we're humble enough to grow, wise enough to learn, and surrendered enough to allow God to change us.

Huwag nating kaliligtaan ang pagdalo sa ating mga pagtitipon, gaya ng ginagawa ng ilan. Sa halip, palakasin natin ang loob ng isa't isa, lalo na ngayong nakikita nating malapit na ang araw ng Panginoon.

Ephesians 5:19-20

Being filled with the Holy Spirit is not about getting more of the Holy Spirit—it is about the Holy Spirit getting more of us.

Siya ay Diyos at Siya ay nananahan sa atin.
Ang kailangan ay mas lalo tayong magpasakop, magtiwala, at magsuko ng lubusan ng ating buhay sa Kanya.

Kapag mas maraming bahagi ng buhay natin ang isinusuko sa Diyos, mas makikita ang Kanyang presensya at paghahari sa ating buhay.

"A life that is filled with the Holy Spirit naturally overflows in worship, encouragement, and gratitude—making every opportunity a testimony of Christ."

1. OVERFLOW IN WORSHIP

Ang worship ay hindi lang pag awit tuwing Sunday.

Worship is a lifestyle.

Kapag surrendered tayo sa Diyos, ang buong buhay natin ay nagiging pagsamba sa Kanya— sa school, sa work, sa bahay, sa paglilingkod, sa pagiging tapat, na nabubuhay ayon sa kalooban, katuwiran, layunin ng Diyos sa atin, tayo'y nakapagbibigay ng kapurihan sa Kanya.

2. OVERFLOW BY ENCOURAGING OTHERS

Ang Spirit-filled life ay hindi lang blessing sa ating sarili.
Nagiging blessing din tayo sa iba.

Gamitin natin ang ating mga salita para magpalakas, magbigay ng pag-asa, at ilapit ang tao upang magsisi at magsuko ng buhay kay Jesus.

3. OVERFLOW IN GRATITUDE

“Lagi kayong magpasalamat…

”Hindi dahil maganda palagi ang sitwasyon, kundi dahil mabuti at tapat pa ang Diyos sa bawat sitwasyon at lahat ng pagkakataon.

Gratitude changes our perspective.

At ito ang challenge sa atin:
Pare-pareho tayong binigyan ng Diyos ng 24 oras bawat araw.

Ang tanong ay hindi,
“Gaano karami ang oras ko?” kundi,
“Ano ang ginagawa ko sa oras na ipinagkatiwala ng Diyos sa akin?”

Habang may buhay, may purpose.
Habang may oras, may mission.

Hayaan nating ang buhay natin ay umapaw sa pagsamba, encouragement, at pasasalamat.

Habang may pagkakataon, may opportunity na magpatawad, magmahal, maglingkod, mag-share ng Gospel, sumunod sa Diyos at luwalhatiin si Jesus.

Every moment matters because every moment belongs to God.

Huwag nating sayangin ang pagkakataong ibinibigay Niya sa atin.

-Lord, help us make every moment count for Your glory. 🙏

Understanding and Living Out God’s Will

Ephesians 5:17–18
“Don’t act thoughtlessly, but understand what the Lord wants you to do… Instead, be filled with the Holy Spirit.”

Every moment matters. Every day is a gift, and every opportunity is a chance to live for Christ.

But how do we know how to use those opportunities?

The answer: Understand God’s will and live by the power of His Spirit.

3 REMINDERS:

1. DON’T LIVE THOUGHTLESSLY.
Hindi tayo tinawag para mabuhay sa autopilot.

Alam natin ang tama—mag-pray, magpatawad, maglingkod, umiwas sa kasalanan—pero minsan sinasabi natin, “Mamaya na.”

Delayed obedience is still disobedience.

2. UNDERSTAND THE WILL OF THE LORD.
Minsan gusto nating malaman ang future plan ng Diyos:
“Lord, saan Mo ako dadalhin?” “Ano ang next step?”

Pero maaring ang tanong muna ng Diyos satin ay:
“Sinusunod mo ba ang sinabi Ko sa’yo ngayon?”

God’s will is not only about where you go—it is also about who you become.

Mahalin ang Diyos. Mamuhay sa katuwiran at kabanalan.
Magpatawad. Maglingkod. Make disciples. Mamuhay na sinasalamin ang pag-ibig at kabutihan ng Diyos sa ating kapwa. Mamuhay sa pasasalamat sa Diyos.

3. BE FILLED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT.
Hindi natin kayang mamuhay para sa Diyos gamit lang ang sariling lakas.

Being filled with the Spirit means allowing the Holy Spirit to have greater control over our thoughts, words, decisions, reactions, and relationships.

Hindi ito one-time experience.
Keep on being filled.

Kaya araw-araw we must pray:
"Lord, Holy Spirit, fill me today. Lead me today. Help me make every opportunity count for Your glory.”

Huwag lang itanong:
“Lord, ano ang plano Mo para sa buhay ko?”
Tanungin din:
“Lord, sumusunod ba ako sa alam ko nang kalooban Mo?”

This week:
✔️ Pray before major decisions.
✔️ Obey what you already know.
✔️ Ask daily to be filled with the Holy Spirit.

-Because when we understand God’s will and surrender to His Spirit, we stop wasting opportunities and start living every moment for His glory.

-Every moment matters. Every opportunity matters. Every day is an opportunity to live for Christ.
Ephesians 5:17–18

LIVE WITH PURPOSE.
KNOW HIS WILL.
BE FILLED WITH HIS SPIRIT.

Make the most of every opportunity

Ephesians 5:15–16

Mabilis lumilipas ang panahon. Hindi natin kayang ibalik ang kahapon, at hindi rin natin alam kung ilan pang bukas ang ipagkakaloob ng Diyos.

Kaya ang tanong ay hindi,
"Gaano pa katagal ang buhay ko?" kundi, "Paano ko ginagamit ang bawat araw na ibinigay ng Diyos?"

We are encouraged na mamuhay nang may karunungan, layunin, at intentionality.

Huwag nating sayangin ang mga pagkakataong ibinibigay Niya, dahil ang pagsunod sa Kanya mula sa pagibig- ang pananalangin, pagpapatawad, paglilingkod, pagbabahagi ng Gospel ay may walang hanggang epekto.

Remember:
✔️ Every step matters.
✔️ Every opportunity matters.
✔️ Every moment matters.

Sa mundo na puno ng distractions/kaabalahan, huwag nating hayaang maagaw ng mga pansamantalang bagay ang oras na para sana sa Diyos.

Tularan natin si Jesus, na ginamit ang bawat araw upang gawin ang kalooban ng Diyos Ama.

Let's not just count our days—make our days count for Christ.

"Lord, help us recognize and redeem every opportunity You are giving us for Your glory."
