‎Truly it is the Lord that builds and establish His church here in Muzon. Today marks the beginning of something beautiful—not simply the opening of a new building, but the opening of a new place where people can come together to know, worship, and serve God. These doors are now open to every family, every young person, every individual who is seeking hope, peace, and a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ.

𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗣𝗟𝗔𝗖𝗘 𝗢𝗙 𝗦𝗔𝗖𝗥𝗜𝗙𝗜𝗖𝗘
08.30.26 | Sunday Service Preaching Summary

The temple was from the beginning to end a place of sacrifice. The altar of burnt offering where the sacrifices were made graced the entrance of the Outer Court. The priests who served there were usually covered in blood and guts. It was not a pretty sight, just as the cross was not the pretty stained glass window scene we have often portrayed it as.

The cross was one of the most perverted and cruel exhibitions of the demented human mind. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐋𝐨𝐫𝐝 𝐢𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐭𝐫𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞 𝐮𝐬 — 𝐇𝐞’𝐬 𝐭𝐫𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐮𝐬! True Christianity requires the ultimate price — the “whole burnt offering,” which means our whole life must be placed on the altar.

The fire on the Altar of Incense was originally lit from the fire on the Altar of Burnt Offerings, which typified the cross. 𝑰𝒕 𝒅𝒐𝒆𝒔 𝒓𝒆𝒒𝒖𝒊𝒓𝒆 𝒔𝒂𝒄𝒓𝒊𝒇𝒊𝒄𝒆 𝒕𝒐 𝒑𝒓𝒂𝒚. 𝑾𝒆 𝒎𝒖𝒔𝒕 𝒈𝒊𝒗𝒆 𝒖𝒑 𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒔𝒆𝒍𝒇-𝒍𝒊𝒇𝒆. The Lord is not just after a few minutes of our day — He wants every thought taken captive and brought into obedience to Him.

The Apostle Paul is one of the great examples of the New Covenant ministry. He died daily. He did all things for the sake of the gospel. He sacrificed his own will, safety, and comfort to serve the Lord and his people. 𝑷𝒂𝒖𝒍’𝒔 𝒈𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒕 𝒆𝒇𝒇𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒏𝒆𝒔𝒔 𝒊𝒏 𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒓𝒚 𝒄𝒂𝒏 𝒃𝒆 𝒅𝒊𝒓𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒍𝒚 𝒕𝒊𝒆𝒅 𝒕𝒐 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒅𝒆𝒈𝒓𝒆𝒆 𝒕𝒐 𝒘𝒉𝒊𝒄𝒉 𝒉𝒆 𝒍𝒂𝒊𝒅 𝒅𝒐𝒘𝒏 𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒍𝒊𝒇𝒆 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒑𝒖𝒓𝒑𝒐𝒔𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑳𝒐𝒓𝒅.

𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝗻 𝘀𝗮𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲. The cross was the ultimate sacrifice and it is the ultimate power. The degree to which 𝐰𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐮𝐩 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐬 𝐝𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐲 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐝𝐞𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐰𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐡 𝐰𝐞 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐆𝐨𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐝𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐲 𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐢𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆. 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗹𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀. Intercession is not just praying for ourselves but for others. The church is itself called to be a prophetic voice to the world, and we see this relationship between the prophetic ministry and intercession in Isaiah 62:6–7.

In 1 Samuel 12:23, the prophet declared: “Moreover, as for me, far be it from me that I should sin against the Lord by ceasing to pray for you.” It would have been a sin against the Lord for the prophet to stop praying for the people, even though the people had just rejected the Lord by seeking a king for themselves. It is true that “where your treasure is, there your heart will be also” (Matt. 6:21). 08.23.26 | SUNDAY SERVICE PREACHING SUMMARY

📖 ‎𝗠𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘄 𝟭𝟯:𝟭𝟬-𝟭𝟮
‎
‎Often, Jesus taught through a parable. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲? Parable is a short story or illustration with a spiritual meaning. Jesus taught a parables for several reasons. Parables were safe. The enemies of Jesus could not easily attack Him for telling a story. Also, parables illustrate and preserve truth. They are easy to remember. Again, a parable gets into a person’s heart.

‎But the main reason 𝗝𝗲𝘀𝘂𝘀 𝘂𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗵𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘂𝗻𝗳𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲! God wanted the disciples to learn new truth. The disciples could not understand the parables.

‎Therefore, 𝗝𝗲𝘀𝘂𝘀 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗹𝘆. However, God did not want the crowd to have new truth. 𝗪𝗵𝘆? Because they had not been faithful with old truth. Whoever is faithful will be given more. Whoever is unfaithful will lose it what he has

‎𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙋𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙗𝙡𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙎𝙤𝙬𝙚𝙧 — "𝗨𝘀𝗲 𝗶𝘁 𝗼𝗿 𝗟𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗶𝘁 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗹𝗲"

‎Let’s look at four big truths in the parables Jesus told. But be careful what you do with the truth you read. If you are faithful with it, God will add to it. All of life is a process of gaining or losing. (𝗠𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘄 𝟭𝟯:𝟯-𝟴)

‎𝐌𝐀𝐓𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐖 𝟏𝟑:𝟒
‎𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 type : 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝗱𝗼 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗚𝗼𝗱. — Perhaps these people do not listen carefully. They allow other thoughts to rob them of a preacher’s message. Or maybe they are lazy. They will do not do the mental work necessary to grasp the truth. Each preacher and teacher should speak clearly. However, the destiny of the seed depends on the hearers. When we hear the Word, we must think on it until we understand it.

‎𝐌𝐀𝐓𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐖 𝟏𝟑:𝟓-𝟔
‎𝙎𝙚𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙙 type : 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝗮𝗻 𝗲𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗦𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲. — Jesus, compared them to seed on stony ground. These hearers did not count the cost. Perhaps there were brief tears or surface happiness. But these left as quickly as a rainbow after a storm. Emotions are good. But do not let your feelings be like a river that washes the truth out of your life. Use your mind. Count the cost.

‎𝐌𝐀𝐓𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐖 𝟏𝟑:𝟕
‎𝙏𝙝𝙞𝙧𝙙 type : 𝗟𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗻, 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗻𝘀 𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱. — These were better listeners than the first or the second group. They understood the Word and made a serious commitment to Christ. Time went by. Priorities changed. These listeners allowed worldly concerns to choke out eternal values. Success seduced the listener away from the gospel.

‎𝐌𝐀𝐓𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐖 𝟏𝟑:𝟖
‎𝙁𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙩𝙝 type : 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗲𝗻𝗱𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗚𝗼𝗱’𝘀 𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗱𝗼𝗺. — The Christ servants’ delight is to sow seed on good ground. It is a joy to speak to those whose minds are not closed or lazy. We love to share the Word with those whose emotions do not carry them up and down like the waves of the sea. We search for those who will keep one eye on eternity.

Another powerful time of learning, growing, and being equipped to make Jesus known!

We’re truly grateful to Bro. Roman and the entire team for pouring into us, strengthening our understanding of God’s Word, sharing wisdom, and encouraging us to take our faith beyond the walls of the church.

This training reminded us that the Gospel is not something to keep to ourselves. We have been called to go, speak, testify, and make Jesus known wherever God sends us.

To our schools, campuses, workplaces, families, friends, communities, and even to the streets—there are people who need to hear the good news of Jesus.

Jesus changed our story.
Jesus gave us a new life.
And now, it’s our turn to boldly tell the world what He has done.

‎We may understand many things about prayer and can teach many wonderful truths on this intriguing subject, some of the deeper aspects and the more difficult questions seem to have no satisfactory answer this side of eternity. I am sure that every child of God has some questions to ask of God concerning the mysteries of prayer and of some prayers which appear to remain unanswered.
‎
‎Nevertheless we know sufficient to enable us to establish and exercise an effective and fruitful prayer life which will enable us to love and serve God to the fullest extent of our abilities.
‎
‎𝐀. 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫 𝐢𝐬 𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐚 𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲

‎It is the expression of our spirit to God who is a Spirit. It is the joining and merging of our spirit with His. 𝑰𝒕 𝒊𝒔 𝒂 𝒈𝒍𝒐𝒓𝒊𝒐𝒖𝒔 𝒎𝒆𝒆𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒊𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒐𝒇 𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒔𝒑𝒊𝒓𝒊𝒕 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑯𝒊𝒔. It is the sacred communing of kindred spirits. Our spirit man, communing and speaking intimately with the Spirit of God, and He with us.

‎Prayer is not an intellectual activity. True prayer is not the product of our human mind or intellectual faculties, though our minds and thoughts should certainly be involved in the exercise. It is the joining of our spirit with God's in the creative activity of mutual spiritual communion.
‎
‎Our spirit is the centre of our being. It is the God-conscious part of man. We are essentially and primarily spiritual beings, housed in physical bodies and operated by our mental faculties. Unless your spirit meets with God, to commune with Him and He with you, you have not prayed.

‎𝑩. 𝑷𝒓𝒂𝒚𝒆𝒓 𝒊𝒔 𝒔𝒑𝒆𝒏𝒅𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒒𝒖𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝒕𝒊𝒎𝒆 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝑮𝒐𝒅

‎Effective prayer can never be achieved in a hurry. Obviously there are extreme moments when prayer can become effectively operative in a matter of seconds.
‎
‎Occasions when we may cry to God in a sudden crisis and He hears and answers prayer as quickly as we can cry out to Him. But, as a general rule the exercise of prayer requires time and should not be hurried.
‎
‎For prayer is not so much what we say to God, as what He may want to say to us and what He may want to accomplish in us as we come before Him in the attitude of surrender and submission which true prayer demands.
‎
‎𝑷𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒍 𝑷𝒓𝒂𝒚𝒆𝒓 𝒊𝒔 𝒔𝒐 𝒊𝒎𝒑𝒐𝒓𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒕 that we should put it at the top of any list of priorities we may make. Its importance is such that almost every other activity should be placed beneath it in the order of the priorities we establish.
