“To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven…” (Ecclesiastes 3:1)
God is a God of Timing, Not Randomness:
Ecclesiastes 3:1–8 reminds us that life moves in appointed seasons—a time to be born, to plant, to weep, to laugh. Nothing is accidental in God’s plan.
In the story of Book of Esther, we see this clearly:
-Esther didn’t become queen overnight.
-There was a process, preparation, and positioning.
-Even delays were part of God’s design.
* What looks like delay is often divine alignment.
This connects directly to Ecclesiastes:
-A time to be silent → Esther kept her identity hidden at first
-A time to speak → Esther boldly approached the king
-A time of danger → The decree against the Jews
-A time of deliverance → God reversed the situation
God Works Even When He Seems Silent
Interestingly, the Book of Esther never directly mentions God’s name—yet His timing is everywhere:
-The king couldn’t sleep at the exact night (Esther 6:1)
-Mordecai’s good deed was remembered at the perfect moment
-Haman’s plan was exposed at the right time
*God may be silent, but He is never absent.
Your Season Matters
Ecclesiastes teaches us to discern seasons, not fight them.
Like Esther, you may be in:
-A waiting season (preparation)
-A hidden season (growth)
-A testing season (faith building)
But eventually, God brings you into:
-A revealing season (purpose fulfilled)
*Don’t rush your season—God’s timing is always perfect.
Application: Trust God’s Timing
-When it’s time to wait → Trust Him
-When it’s time to act → Obey Him
-When it’s time to speak → Be bold like Esther
Closing Reflection
-Your life is not out of schedule. Just like Esther, you are placed where you are on purpose.
“For such a time as this” is not just Esther’s story—it can be yours.
