2nd Friday After Pentecost
Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus
O Most Sacred Heart of Jesus,
fountain of every blessing,
I adore you and I love you,
with lively sorrow for my sins,
I offer you this poor heart of mine.
Make me humble, patient, pure
and all obedient to your will.
Grant, My Good Lord Jesus,
that I may live in You and for You.
Protect me in the midst of danger,
And comfort me in my afflictions.
I pray for the good health of my body,
assist me in my temporal needs,
and bless me in all that I do.
Most of all I pray for the grace of a holy and happy death.
Amen.
