Sometimes, we overlook the true meaning of walking closer with Christ.

We often measure our closeness with Him by how frequently we read the Bible, how passionately we sing in praise and worship, or how good we appear outwardly.

But maybe weโ€™re missing something.

Walking closer with Jesus is not simply about what we do for Him. It is about growing in His glory, being grounded in His love, becoming more like Him, and desiring more of His presence.

As we go through this week, may this be our prayer:

Lord, let me GROW in Your Glory.
Lord, keep me GROUNDED in Your Love.
Lord, keep me GAZING upon Your Presence.
