The Remains of Rev. Fr. Ramon Baron Arrive at the Parish of Badu
The remains of Rev. Fr. Ramon Baron arrived at the Parish of Badu this afternoon, marking a solemn and emotional moment for the community he dearly loved and faithfully served. Upon his arrival, a Holy Mass was offered for the eternal repose of his soul, with Rev. Fr. Danilo Failadona serving as the celebrant.
Families, friends, and parishioners gathered in prayer, filling the church with reverence and gratitude for the life and ministry of the late priest. The gathering carried a deep sense of nostalgia, as many familiar faces reunited in remembrance of their beloved former parish priest, sharing memories of his dedication and pastoral care.
The prayer vigil will continue throughout the evening as the faithful remain in prayer. Tomorrow, the remains of Fr. Baron will be brought to his residence in Jelicuon, Cabatuan.
It is known that before his passing, Fr. Baron expressed his wish that his remains be brought to the Parish of Badu—a parish he loved deeply. It was his first assignment as parish priest, and he was among the pillars who helped establish the parish in 1987, in collaboration with the Caspillo Family. His legacy remains firmly rooted in the history and growth of the community.
Those who wish to visit and pay their respects may do so, as the church will remain open until tomorrow morning for anyone who desires to offer prayers for our beloved former Parish Priest.
