Earlier today, Our Lady of the Holy Rosary of Manaoag visited Calbiga, an annual visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

𝐏𝐀𝐆𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐔𝐌𝐃𝐎𝐌 | 𝟏𝟏𝐭𝐡 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐞𝐫 𝐓𝐲𝐩𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐧 𝐘𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚

Yesterday, November 8, the Parish Youth Ministry led by the PYCC Calbiga were gathered to remember the souls lost during the devastation of Super Typhoon Yolanda. The event began with a candle lighting outside of Our Lady of the Annunciation Parish at 5:00 PM, symbolizing sympathy for the families who lost loved ones and honoring the souls who departed on that tragic day. The church bell rang solemnly, followed by a commemorative vigil at 6:00 PM, bringing together youth members from various BECs of Calbiga.

May this remembrance strengthen our bond and keep the memory of those lost alive in our hearts. 🕯️

Commemoration of the Departed Souls of Super Typhoon Yolanda 🕯️🕊️

As we mark 11 years since the devastation of Super Typhoon Yolanda, we gather together in solemn remembrance of the thousands of lives lost, especially those from Samar and Leyte. Let us come together to honor their memory, pray for their souls, and find strength as a community.

Join us for a commemorative candle lighting this November 8 that will start at 5:00 PM, and a vigil that will start at 6:15 PM, where we will pray for peace and comfort for the departed and those they left behind.

PARADE OF SAINTS 2024
Theme: "Be Holy, for I am Holy"
- 1 Peter 1:15-16

Congratulations to all the BECs in Calbiga for the successful event!

The goal of this event is to refocus Halloween on celebrating the Saints, inspiring everyone to follow the example of the Saints they represent. May this celebration continue to inspire us to live Holy lives, following the footsteps of the Saints.

Our heartfelt thanks go to everyone who contributed to the success of this event. May God bless us all.

FEAST DAY OF ST. JUDE THADDUES | October 28

Prayer to St. Jude Thaddeus

O glorious Apostle, St. Jude Thaddeus, true relative of Jesus and Mary, I salute you through the most Sacred Heart of Jesus! Through this heart, I praise and thank God for the graces He has bestowed upon you. Humbly prostrate before you, I implore you through this Heart to look down upon me this compassion.

Oh, despise not my poor prayers, let not my trust be confounded! To you God has granted the privilege of aiding all people in the most desperate cases. Oh come to my aid, that i may praise the mercies of God! All my life, will be grateful to you and will be your faithful follower until i can thank you in heaven.

Come to my assistance in this time of great need, that i may receive the consolation and help of Heaven in all my necessities tribulations and sufferings, and that I may bless God with all the saints throughout eternity.

I promise you, O blessed St. Jude, to be ever mindful of this great favor and I will never cease to honor you as my special and powerful patron and to do all in my power to encourage devotion to you. AMEN
