We believe God sent his son Jesus Christ into the world, born of a virgin without sin, who lived a perfect life and died a perfect sacrifice for our sins bearing them in his own body on the tree cruelly crucified to save his people from Their sins. We believe he was laid in the tombe dead in his perfect human body but after three days he rose again from the dead victorious over death, hell and the grave and that he now lives both in his divine and also perfect human body. We believe in believers baptism, the breaking of bread and in the fellowship of all believers and in his coming again in the manner he went up into heaven to take his people into his heavenly home.

Matthew 10:34 ("Do not think that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I have not come to bring peace, but a sword") means that Jesus’ message creates a deep spiritual division between people, not that He promotes physical violence.

The Meaning of the "Sword"

Not a physical weapon: Jesus did not want His followers to fight with real swords. When Peter used a sword later, Jesus told him to put it away.

A symbol of division: The "sword" represents the sharp and unavoidable split between those who accept the truth of the gospel and those who reject it.

Family and Personal Conflict

Household division: Following Jesus requires total loyalty. This can cause severe arguments and anger inside families if some members believe in Him and others do not.

The cost of faith: Jesus warns that being His true follower can cost you earthly comfort and smooth relationships, because His standard demands putting God above humanties
