With hearts filled with faith and thanksgiving, the community gathered for the solemn Blessing of the Monumento de San Antonio de Padua, presided over by Most Rev. Isabelo C. Abarquez, DD, Bishop of Calbayog. The celebration marked a meaningful moment of devotion and thanksgiving, honoring St. Anthony of Padua, whose life continues to inspire the faithful through his deep love for Christ, dedication to the Gospel, and service to God’s people.

May this monument stand as a lasting reminder of our Christian faith and a visible witness to the intercession and example of San Antonio de Padua. With hearts filled with gratitude and joy, the faithful gathered in celebration of the Thanksgiving Mass and the Solemnity of Our Lady of the Assumption, giving thanks to God for His abundant blessings and unwavering guidance. The Holy Eucharist was presided over by Most Rev. Isabelo C. Abarquez, DD, Bishop of Calbayog, who led the community in prayer and thanksgiving as we honored Mary, our Blessed Mother, in her glorious Assumption into Heaven.

May the celebration of the Solemnity of Our Lady of the Assumption inspire us to follow Mary’s example of humble faith, steadfast obedience, and wholehearted service to God. As one community of faith, may we continue to journey together with grateful hearts, entrusting our lives and mission to the loving intercession of Mary, our Mother and guide.
