CIRCUMSIZED HEART

Deuteronomy 30:6 NLT
[6] “The Lord your God will change your heart and the hearts of all your descendants, so that you will love him with all your heart and soul and so you may live!

Deuteronomy 10:16 NLT
[16] Therefore, change your hearts and stop being stubborn.

Physical and spiritual transformation that comes from the Lord not on human effort.

Circumcision is not just phyiscal but a Life set apart consecrated of zealous transformation--- a heart to serve with zealousness(masigasig). Not produce by religious tradition but by internal transformation, a circumcised heart is a heart change by God.

1 Peter 2:1 NLT
[1] So get rid of all evil behavior. Be done with all deceit, hypocrisy, jealousy, and all unkind speech.

You followed not only because of the command but because the command is already in your heart. It's no longer need to force you to obey, but you are delighted and have the eagerness to do it yourself.

You can show love through serving.

Circumcise heart aligns you with purpose.
Not just to live physically but to live in God's purpose. A transform heart means God's desire becomes our desire.
When your heart becomes align with God's purpose, serving becomes natural for you to do.

For example: for athletes, it becomes a muscle memory

Serving is not a burden for you.

When your heart is align to God there is urgency, passion and commitment.

There's an URGENCY because the Second Coming is so near!

Zealousness means beats and sink in God's will.

God will renew our strength!

CIRCUMCISED HEART

Deuteronomy 30:6 NIV
[6] The Lord your God will circumcise your hearts and the hearts of your descendants, so that you may love him with all your heart and with all your soul, and live.

They are circumcised because they are chosen to live a Holy aand obedient life

Deuteronomy 10:16 NIV
[16] Circumcise your hearts, therefore, and do not be stiff-necked any longer.

THREE TRUTHS ABOUT CIRCUMCISION OF THE HEART

1. The Lord your God will circumcise your hearts through transformation not to human effort but in God's power.

- Deuteronomy 10:16 NLT
[16] Therefore, change your hearts and stop being stubborn.

- True transformation will comes to the Lord

- God can't change us if you not allow to change you.

- God gave us free will God respect our free will and decision.

- Romans 12:2 NLT
[2] Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.

- People will never be change for good in it own self. We can't do it alone.

- External obedience without obedient inwardly leads to inconsistency

- It is God who gave us new heart.
It is God who can transform us if we will allow Him to change us.

- If change ourselves on our own, it won't last. But if God is the one who transforms us, it will lasts.

2. CIRCUMCISED HEART MEANS UNDIVIDED LOVE FOR GOD

- Love your God with all your heart
- Give and show your love to God with an excellent Spirit
- Representing of cutting away everything (pride, stubborn, rebellion, etc)
- God wants us to give our wholehearted obedience
- Circumcision is a sign outwardly that shows what will happen inwardly; on the circumcision of the heart or transformation of the heart.
- When your heart is divided, then your faith is weak. You can't follow God if your heart is divided.
- God is not worthy of piece of offering. Our offering should be blameless.

3. CIRCUMCISED HEART IS THAT YOU MAY LIVE

- If your heart is circumcised then you are living truthfully.
- Its not just survival. God wants us to live a prosperous life and have a good relationship with God. Spiritually, physically and financially blessed.
- It is found not in success but in communion with God.
- Joshua 1:8 NIV
[8] Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.
- God wants us to have a balance life.

FOR US TO OBTAIN BREAKTHROUGH IS WHEN WE ALLOW GOD TO BREAK OUR HEARTS. TO CUT EVERYTHING AND ALLOW GOD TO TRANSFORM US.

DVBS GRADUATION DAY!

TO GOD BE ALL THE GLORY for all the lives of each children who made it to completion of the summer program of LECC for children!

Praise be to God for the Youth Ministry who prepared and handled the program from the very first day to it's graduation day!

May the Lord continue to bless each and everyone who helped the Summer Activity of DVBS in LE Calauan, from the Pastors, Elders and Workers who shared wisdom, time, effort and provide to make it possible!

All because of God's grace and of unity of the body of Christ!
