"Now Joshua was old and stricken in years; and the LORD said unto him, Thou art old and stricken in years, and there remaineth yet very much land to be possessed." (Josh. 13:1)
Time is a priceless commodity. Unfortunately, many of us waste it by pursuing things that won`t matter a hundred years from now - wealth, power, fame. We get busy trying to survive every day and lose sight of the fact that there is more to life than surviving the daily grind.
God created us for a purpose. And that purpose is to please Him. We should seek His will and find out in what way we can please Him and pursue it before it is too late. A life without purpose is meaningless. But finding life`s purpose outside the will of God is emptiness.
If you want to know your true purpose in life, start by knowing Jesus Christ and trusting in Him as your personal Lord and Savior (John 6:40).
Do not procrastinate. Time is running out.
"The days pass so swiftly
The months come and go
The years melt away
Like new falling snow
Spring turns to summer
Then summer to fall
Autumn brings winter
Then death comes to all" - Only One Life
