Dec 11| CaLiPa Fellowship
Theme: "Nurturing"

The year 2022 has been full of challenges and blessings with lots of lessons, realizations, and surprises. It was just like yesterday when we welcomed year 2022, and with just a few weeks away, this year would come to a conclusion and soon enough, we would welcome another year in our lives.

Despite the circumstances we faced this year, let us thank God for helping us all throughout the year. He has been so patient, guiding us with our way out of trouble. Indeed, he is a God full of love and gives abundant blessings. He is so good to us that He gave us the best leaders we can have for this year. Thank you Lord for Your mercy and kindness, that You helped and guided these leaders, and gave them patience and the abilities to lead. And to give appreciation for this year's officers, the CaLiPa congregation conducted a program and gave out certificates for our leaders. May this year be forever remembered and the blessings of God be with them wherever they go.

And for the new year to come with our church's newly elected officers, may the blessings of God be received by all of you. That in every circumstances and challenges you may face in leading, your first resort would be God. As what has been said on James 1:5, NIV. "If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him." Never hesitate to ask God for His guidance, He chose you because He wants you to be His servant and be a reflection of Himself.

Let us all pray for this year's leaders and for the newly elected leaders for the year to come. God bless us all.

Nov 1| Undas Ministry

An "Undas Ministry" has been conducted by the Adventist youths of the 3 churches of Calatrava on the 1st day of November 2022, All Saints Day. This has been an annual ministry of the youths which started in 2015, but unfortunately stopped when the pandemic began. All glory to God, because despite the difficulties and calamities that happened in the past years and days, the power of the Holy Spirit ignited a fire in the hearts of the youths to continue the ministry. More materials had been prepared so that more people of Calatrava would be reached by the Good News.

We thank God for the wonderful weather and for the Holy Spirit who guided us all throughout the activity. Our continuous prayers for those people who have been given books that may the Holy Spirit work in their precious hearts and that the words of God help them gain Hope amidst the storms of life.

Oct 15| CaLiPa Fellowship

On the 15th of October 2022, the brethren of the whole CaLiPa Zone has once again gathered for a fellowship held at Pangulo SDA Church Private Court with the theme "I Will Go". Indeed, God blesses His people who does His will and work. The whole Sabbath program was filled with messages to quench our thirst of Holy Spirit and filled us with spiritual foods to help us go through everyday struggles.

"I Will Go: Reach the World". Spread the light, bring the hope, instill faithfulness to the world. Let us always remember that we were chosen by Him and tasked to harvest souls in His Name.

There are a lot of ways that we can do to reach out and preach out His message, one way to do it is by posting His gospel through social media, sharing his words to the people using our gadgets.

Let every worker in the Master's vineyard, study, plan, devise methods, to reach the people where they are. We must do something out of the common course of things. We must arrest the attention. We must be deadly in earnest. We are on the very verge of times of trouble and perplexities that are scarcely dreamed of. {Ev 122.4}

If you're in the heat of the battle right now, or if the enemy feels hot on your trail, please know you're not alone, not ever. Neither are you left to fight on your own. Many of us are in the battle with you, and God is the One who fights on our behalf, constantly shielding, protecting, strengthening, even when we're unaware. We never have to struggle to fend for ourselves, but He's with us, always, covering us, in all of our days.

The spiritual spirit of gentleness, goodness, kindnes, and grac, comes from a tender heart that honours the Lord. The imperishable qualities that are so precious in the eyes of God are the ones that every husband desires to see in his wife, and every woman should nurture. They are born out of a submissive and respectful spirit which is at peace with God and owns the peace of God in her heart because she trust in him.

When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee. Isaiah 43:2

He will go with you through your storm. He will hold you fast and let you stand in the hollow of His hand. And one day He will take his children to that place where the long night has ended and the storms come no more. And we will stand with Him on that bright peaceful shore.

Those who are justified by faith must have a heart to keep the way of the Lord. It is an evidence that a man is not justified by faith when his works do not correspond to his profession. James says, “Sees thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was his faith made perfect?” The faith that does not produce good works does not justify the soul. “Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.” “Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness.” {ST March 20, 1893, par. 4}
