𝗦𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗮𝗽 | 𝗕𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗼𝗳 𝗘𝗽𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗮𝗻𝘀
𝑺𝒂𝒗𝒆𝒅 𝒃𝒚 𝑮𝒓𝒂𝒄𝒆. 𝑼𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒆𝒅 𝒊𝒏 𝑪𝒉𝒓𝒊𝒔𝒕. 𝑳𝒊𝒗𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑾𝒐𝒓𝒕𝒉𝒚.

As we continued our series, “𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗼𝗳 𝗘𝗽𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗮𝗻𝘀: 𝗦𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗲. 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁. 𝗟𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵𝘆,” we were reminded of the sobering truth about our condition apart from Christ.

✅𝗪𝗘 𝗪𝗘𝗥𝗘 𝗗𝗘𝗔𝗗 𝗜𝗡 𝗦𝗜𝗡 — Sin separated us from God and left us unable to save ourselves.

✅𝗪𝗘 𝗪𝗘𝗥𝗘 𝗘𝗡𝗦𝗟𝗔𝗩𝗘𝗗 𝗧𝗢 𝗦𝗜𝗡 — We followed the ways of the world and lived in disobedience to God.

✅𝗪𝗘 𝗪𝗘𝗥𝗘 𝗖𝗢𝗥𝗥𝗨𝗣𝗧𝗘𝗗 𝗕𝗬 𝗦𝗜𝗡 — Sin affected our hearts, minds, desires, and actions.

✅𝗪𝗘 𝗪𝗘𝗥𝗘 𝗨𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗥 𝗚𝗢𝗗’𝗦 𝗥𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧𝗘𝗢𝗨𝗦 𝗝𝗨𝗗𝗚𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧 — Because God is holy and just, sin deserves His righteous judgment.

But the story does not end with our condition.

“𝗡𝗚𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗧 𝗔𝗡𝗚 𝗗𝗜𝗬𝗢𝗦…” — 𝗘𝗳𝗲𝘀𝗼 𝟮:𝟰

What a glorious truth!

We were dead—𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗚𝗼𝗱 𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲.
We were enslaved—𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗚𝗼𝗱 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗼𝗺.
We were sinners—𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗚𝗼𝗱 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝗮 𝗦𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗼𝗿.
We were under judgment—𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗚𝗼𝗱 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗱 𝘂𝘀 𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗰𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁.

The Gospel reminds us that 𝘀𝗮𝗹𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝘄𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲, 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗚𝗼𝗱 𝗶𝘀.

Because of Christ, we have hope.
Because of grace, we have life.
Because of God’s mercy, we can stand before Him.

May we never forget where we came from and never take God’s grace for granted.

𝗪𝗲 𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝘀𝗶𝗻—
𝗕𝗨𝗧 𝗚𝗢𝗗 𝗠𝗔𝗗𝗘 𝗨𝗦 𝗔𝗟𝗜𝗩𝗘 𝗜𝗡 𝗖𝗛𝗥𝗜𝗦𝗧.

All glory belongs to Him!

𝗦𝗢𝗟𝗜 𝗗𝗘𝗢 𝗚𝗟𝗢𝗥𝗜𝗔!

"But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.” - Isaiah 40:31

May mga panahon na gusto nating maging strong para sa lahat, sa trabaho, sa family, sa ministry, at maging sa sarili natin. Pero darating talaga ang point na mauubos din tayo. At dito napakaganda ng paalala ng Isaiah 40. Actually, hindi sinabi ng Diyos na hindi tayo mapapagod, dahil malinaw naman sa verse 30 na kahit ang mga kabataan ay napapagod at nanghihina. Ang pangako ng Diyos ay hindi sa hindi tayo mauubusan ng lakas, kundi kapag tayo ay nanghihina, may panibagong lakas na nagmumula sa Kanya.

Meaning...

Kung napapagod, lumapit sa Diyos.
Kung nanghihina, umasa lang sa Diyos.
Kung matagal nang naghihintay, 'wag mawalan ng pag-asa.
At kung parang wala nang lakas, remember that God can renew what we no longer have.

Ika nga, “They will soar on wings like eagles, they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not faint.” Ibig sabihin, hindi pare-pareho ang bilis ng journey natin, kapatid. There's a time to soar, a time to run, and a time to simply walk. At kahit sa mabagal na paglalakad, hindi ibig sabihin na wala tayong progress.

We may be tired from the journey, but if our hope is in the Lord, we will never run out of strength to keep going. 🫡❤️

Ang forgiveness ni Lord ay hindi kailanman naging permission para paulit-ulit tayong bumalik sa kasalanan. It's to leave the old life and to walk differently. Dahil kay Cristo, hindi na natin kailangang paulit-ulit na maghanap ng paraan para malinis sa harap ng Diyos. May sapat na biyaya para sa taong tunay na nagsisisi, pero ang biyayang iyon ay hindi dapat abusuhin. Huwag nating gamitin ang forgiveness para maging comfortable sa dating buhay. Let His grace change our choices, our priorities, and the way we live every day. Don’t use God’s forgiveness as a reason to return to what He has already called us to leave.

Binibigyan tayo ng Diyos ng panibagong simula, pero 'wag nating gamitin ang bagong simula para bumalik sa dating buhay. Gamitin natin ito upang mas lumapit sa Diyos, mas piliing sumunod, at mamuhay nang may gratitude sa biyayang hindi natin kailanman kayang bayaran.

“Tell your brother Aaron that he is not to come whenever he chooses into the Most Holy Place behind the curtain in front of the atonement cover on the ark, or else he will die. For I will appear in the cloud over the atonement cover." - Leviticus 16:2

This reminds us that God is holy, and His presence is never something to treat casually. May tamang paraan ng paglapit sa Kanya dahil ang kasalanan ay hindi maaaring basta balewalain. However, isa din itong paalala kung gaano kahalaga ang grace na mayroon tayo ngayon. Through Christ, binigyan tayo ng daan upang makalapit sa Diyos, not because we are worthy, but because He made a way for us. Kaya lumapit tayo palagi sa Diyos nang may reverence, repentance, at pusong handa laging magbago. Huwag nating sayangin ang pribilehiyong ito sa pamumuhay na hindi Siya pinararangalan, dahil ang tunay na pagpapahalaga sa presensya ng Diyos ay nakikita hindi lamang sa ating pagsamba, kundi sa ating pagbabago ng buhay at pagsunod sa Kanya araw-araw.

Knowing God is more important than knowing all the answers. There were many things Job did not understand, but through his suffering, he came to know God more deeply.

Sometimes, God does not immediately explain our situation. Instead, He invites us to trust Him, humble ourselves, and continue walking with Him.Our present circumstances may be difficult, but they do not change God’s character or His faithfulness.

Just like Job, when God restored everything he had lost, He did not simply give back what was taken away, God blessed him with even more than he had before. This reminds us that God is faithful in every season. Even when we go through loss, pain, and waiting, we can trust that God is always working according to His perfect plan and timing.

Faith does not mean having answers to every question; faith means trusting God even when we do not have the answers. When life becomes confusing and we face situations we cannot understand, we must remember that our understanding is limited, but God’s wisdom is perfect; our strength is limited, but God’s power is unlimited; and our control is limited, but God is always in control. Therefore, instead of allowing our questions and uncertainties to weaken our faith, let us humble ourselves, surrender the things we cannot control, and continue trusting God. We may not always understand what He is doing, but we can be confident that our God is greater than every question, every problem, and every situation we face.

God knows what we do not know, controls what we cannot control, and sees what we cannot see.There are times when we may not understand why certain things happen in our lives, just as Job struggled to understand his situation. But God’s wisdom is greater than our understanding.

So, when we face uncertainty, let us not depend only on what we see or understand. Instead, let us trust the God who knows all, controls all, and sees all.We may not know what tomorrow holds, but we can be confident that God already knows, and He is always in control.

God’s greatness, justice, wisdom, and His way of dealing with people remind us that He is mighty, yet He does not despise anyone. He sees the righteous, corrects and teaches us through difficult seasons, and calls us to listen to Him.

Therefore, when we face trials, we should not immediately think that God has forgotten us. Instead, we should listen to His instruction, humble ourselves before Him, and continue trusting in His wisdom.

Even when we do not understand what God is doing, we can trust that He is always working according to His perfect wisdom and purpose.🙏
