GOD WRITES LOVE STORIES DIFFERENTLY
- Genesis 29:16-31 ❤️‍🔥

🗣️Sister Christine Joy Paragna!

The truth is: The bible has illustrated that real love stories are raw, messy and, sometimes, unfair ❤️‍🩹
Just like the love story of Jacob and Leah.

I. GOD'S LOVE STORIES ARE NOT BUILT ON HUMAN PREFERENCES
- Jacob ignored Leah but God has fully seen her.
- WORLD: "Love is about being chosen."
GOD: "Love is about being seen and chosen."

II. HUMAN PREFERENCES WILL NEVER FULLY SATISFY US
- What we desire which is not part of God's plan will often leaves us empty/not satisfied.
- If God is not the center of what you are chasing, you will always be left disappointed.

III. GOD FORMS OUR CHARACTER BEFORE HE FULFILLS OUR DESIRE
- The Lord is waiting for a right character -- a character which praises Him even in the midst of pain.
- Your pain must not take your purpose away, because it may be the birthplace of your praise.
- Healing / fulfillment of our desires begin when worship replaces bitterness.

IV. JESUS IS THE ULTIMATE PLOT TWIST OF THE DIFFERENT LOVE STORY
- Jesus came not fron Rachel but from Leah.
- Jesus uses our messy situations for a great purpose just how He used Leah so that we coud be saved.
- Jesus is the proof that even if we rejected Him so many times, He won't stop loving us and He proved it through the cross.

✓ STOP CHASING THINGS THAT AREN'T TRULY SATISFYING!
✓ STOP LETTING REJECTION DEFINE YOU!
✓ STOP LETTING RELATIONSHIPS REPLACE JESUS IN YOUR LIFE!

CHALLENGE: Start sharing Jesus' love to someone in need of Him.
