TONIGHT, HOPE IS BORN!

God comes close, not with power, but as a Child, fragile, gentle, and full of love. In Jesus, we are reminded that we are not alone, not forgotten, not beyond saving.

Christmas tells us that even in our weakness and struggles, God chooses to be with us. This is our hope. This is our joy.

Merry Christmas. Christ is born for us.

Today, December 8, we celebrate the Feast of the Immaculate Conception โ€” a holy day of obligation and a beautiful reminder of Godโ€™s loving plan.

Many often think this day marks Maryโ€™s birthday or the conception of Jesus, but it is the moment Mary herself was conceived in the womb of St. Anne, preserved from original sin so she could one day carry our Savior.

As we honor our Blessed Mother today, may her purity, humility, and wholehearted โ€œyesโ€ inspire us to walk closer with God.

It is the season when the Church invites us to pause and let our hearts long for Christ again. Advent teaches us to hope in the light, to repent with humility, to watch for Godโ€™s quiet coming, and to welcome Jesus into the small, ordinary places of our lives. As this holy season draws near, may our hearts become ready and eager for the Savior who comes to be with us.

During the Eucharistic Procession, as the Blessed Sacrament passes by, we kneelโ€”not out of obligation, but out of love.

In that sacred moment, our King draws near. The same Jesus who walked with His people, healed the broken, and welcomed the weary is the very Jesus who comes to us nowโ€”truly present, Body and Blood and fully divine.
