Stone cladding has been completed on the exterior of the Cagayan de Oro Philippines Temple, allowing scaffolding to be removed. Protective plastic covers the stone base course as hardscape work begins on the temple grounds. Crews are installing walkways and flowerbed edging while preparations continue for the future parking areas. Exterior construction has also been completed on the ancillary buildings. At least once, we are all guilty of feeling bored at church, or too sleepy to say our nightly prayer…
And maybe it’s not because we don’t care.
Sometimes we’re simply tired, distracted, or carrying a lot.

But moments like these quietly reveal something:
a relationship can’t grow on leftover time alone.

The Lord does not ask for perfection, but He does invite our presence. Even a small, sincere effort to turn our hearts toward Him matters.

As we choose, again and again, to give Him a place in our day, we may find that our desire for Him begins to deepen, and what once felt like duty becomes something we truly long for.

Western Visayas Medical Center received a ₱14 million surgical ophthalmology machine donated by Christians from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints through a turnover ceremony facilitated by Lions Club International. The donation also included intraocular lens (IOL) supplies intended to support patient care at the medical center. The new equipment is expected to assist in treating ophthalmology patients and support the training of ophthalmology residents.
