Today, we welcome into the first formative stage of aspirancy of Sarah, Jalybie and Starla.
In this stage, as the young candidate recognizes in the Sisters of the Holy Family a possibility for her own life choice, she frequents the formative community in order to:
- Be helped to mature her relationship with God and her life of faith, cultivating an attitude of openness and availability;
- Bring to light, through formative guidance, her personal identity and human qualities (to this end, it is helpful to know the person's history and background);
- Be guided to discover, in a holistic way, the characteristics and demands of religious life as a "way of life," particularly as presented by this Institute (Ratio Formationis No. 39).
We entrust, especially through the intercession of Blessed Leopoldina Naudet, this journey that is beginning for these young women, as well as for the welcoming community, so that together we may fulfill God's holy will.
