🚨Democrats pushing to shut down the government next month?

Speaker Mike Johnson at presser: "Chairman Tom Cole addressed the House Republicans this morning on the latest developments about how we may be getting close to a number on that. The problem is, the Democrats have added something new and different that's never been part of this before. They are trying to add to the appropriations bill a demand that they want us to somehow limit the ability of the Executive Branch to do its job. They want to limit, tie the hands of the President on what he is able to do with the expenditures in the Executive Branch. That's never been done before.

House Republicans, as egregious as the actions were of the previous President, Joe Biden, as unconstitutional and outrageous as they were, we never proposed using the appropriations process to tie the President's hands. It'd be, I think, a gross separation of powers violation and a terrible precedent for Congress to engage in. So that's a non-starter for us, and the Democrats know that.

And so it looks like they’re in a posture right now that they're making individual appropriations bills almost impossible. We'll find out soon, stay tuned. There's more discussion today to be had, but we are nearing, obviously, the March 14th deadline, and I'm really hopeful that they'll back off of those outrageous demands because it's unprecedented, and I think probably unconstitutional, and it's not anything we'll be a part of."

Trump just fired the ultra qualified African American Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and replaced him with this unqualified MAGA hat wearing sycophant named Dan Caine. Dan famously told Trump: "I love you, sir. I think you’re great, sir. I’ll kill for you, sir." Apparently this qualifies him for the top job in the US military.

God help us.

BREAKING: War hero Senator Tammy Duckworth torches Trump for stabbing our brave veterans in the back by gutting Veterans Affairs: "Donald Trump has fired more veterans than any other president in our recent history."

And she was just getting warmed up...

"Well what they're calling 'non-mission critical,' I think you and I and the average American would disagree with them that these are 'non-mission critical,'" said Duckworth on CNN.

Duckworth served as a combat helicopter pilot in Iraq and lost both of her legs when her Black Hawk was hit by a rocket-propelled gr***de. She is a recipient of the Purple Heart, an Air Medal, and an Army Commendation Medal.

She served as the Assistant Secretary of Veterans Affairs under President Obama and serves on the Veterans' Affairs Committee. In other words, she knows this issue inside and out.

"How does a surgeon perform an operation without a surgical nurse? Without a surgical assistant? We're already hearing that surgeries are being cancelled or postponed at the VA," Duckworth continued.

She was discussing the mass layoffs that have rocked the Department of Veterans Affairs thanks to the efforts by Trump and Elon Musk to dismantle our federal government. 1,400 employees were fired yesterday, following 1,000 terminations earlier this month.

All of these layoffs are designed to lay the foundation for more tax cuts for billionaires and corporations. The Republican Party's claim to be "pro-military" is an insulting farce. The only thing they are is pro-greed.

"I have one person who is a crisis hotline supervisor — this is someone who did such a good job they were promoted, now they're training other crisis hotline, the people who answer the phones, they're there with them as they're being trained up to answer the phones — and that person is still laid off," said Duckworth.

"Donald Trump has fired more veterans than any other president in our recent history," she continued. "And this has to stop because these are hard working people and it's really an insult to all of the federal employees who are making sure that the system is running."

"You know some of these folks are people that do claims processing making sure that veterans have access to the benefits that they've earned. They've been laid off," she added.

Unless the American people stand up and demand an end to this, the VA will be completely reduced to ash. In its place, predatory companies will swoop in to reap sweetheart deals from the Trump administration — providing vastly inferior services for higher costs.

The waves of white hot rage flowing through me as I watched that meeting today in the Oval Office between Zelenskyy and trump startled me in its intensity. There we had trump chastising and berating our wartime ally Zelenskyy, all while parroting Putin’s talking points. And then JD Vance had the nerve to sneer at Zelenskyy that he hadn’t even said thank you to trump. It was truly the most shameful moment of American “diplomacy” I’ve ever seen.

Trump trying to extort Ukraine for their mineral rights in exchange for protection from Russia is no different than Russia invading Ukraine to take it’s resources. It’s pure mob mentality thug behavior. How can Ukraine recover from this devastating war if they have to give up all their resources to do so. It will truly be a broken country.

The fact that AP and Reuters, two of the most respectable media companies in the USA were barred from this meeting but somehow TASS, which is Russian state media managed to weasel their way in there for part of it (even though the White House is now saying they were unauthorized to be there) proves it; the fix is in. The coup that started back on Jan 6th 2021 is nearly finished. Hillary was right all along; trump is nothing more than Putin’s puppet and the entire global world order that existed since the end of WWII is about to be decimated.
