Today, November 2, we pause to remember and pray for all the faithful departed. All Souls’ Day is a sacred time to express our love for those who have gone before us and to entrust their souls to the mercy of God. Through our prayers, we share in the hope that they may find eternal peace in His presence.
As we light candles and offer prayers, may we also be reminded of the value of life, faith, and the promise of resurrection. Let this day inspire us to live with love and gratitude, keeping alive the memory of those who shaped our lives with kindness and faith.
Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them. May they rest in peace. Amen.

✨ 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 | Poster Making Contest 🎨

Last 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟵, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱, 𝗔𝗖𝗗 𝟭𝟬𝟭 turned into a space of creativity and faith as students showcased their artistic skills during the 𝗣𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁. With colors, brushes, and imagination, participants expressed their reflections on this year’s theme, “𝗪𝗶𝘁𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁: 𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲, 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗲.”

The contest became more than just a display of talent, it was a reminder that art can be a powerful way to proclaim God’s Word and inspire others to walk in His light. 🖌️

Last 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟵, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱, the 𝗗𝗪𝗖𝗖 𝗚𝘆𝗺𝗻𝗮𝘀𝗶𝘂𝗺 was filled with excitement and faith as students competed in the 𝗕𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗤𝘂𝗶𝘇 𝗕𝗲𝗲 The contest highlighted the participants’ knowledge of the Scriptures, showcasing not only their sharp memory and understanding but also their commitment to living out the Word of God.

Guided by the theme, “𝗪𝗶𝘁𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁: 𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲, 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗲,” the event inspired everyone present to continue deepening their faith and spreading God’s light in their own ways. Truly, it was a day of wisdom, fellowship, and spiritual growth.

On September 8, 1875, St. Arnold Janssen founded the Societas Verbi Divini (Society of the Divine Word) in Steyl, Netherlands. What began as a small missionary congregation dedicated to proclaiming the Word of God has grown into one of the largest missionary congregations in the world, serving in over 80 countries through education, social development, healthcare, and parish missions.

For 150 years, the SVD has remained faithful to its mission of spreading the Gospel across cultures and nations, guided by the spirit of dialogue, service, and compassion.
