ASC Mary Help Of Christians Canlubang Center MHC Canlubang is a center of Association of Salesian Cooperators- Fin ASC and is the 3rd order of the Salesian Family founded directly by Don Bosco in 1876.

Our center was established May 12,2018 with 15 Parent Volunteer Catechist as the pioneer members. About the Association:

The Salesian Cooperators are the first group of youth ministers established by Don Bosco. He began his work in 1841. Don Bosco gathered these street kids in vacant lots for a day of play. He brought them to Church for Mass and a catechism lesson.Don Bosco invited people whom he

felt had the talent and the desire to minister to young people. His own mother, Margarita, came to help him. With the help of Pope Pius IX he formed the Association of Salesian Cooperators in 1876. The Cooperators were lay people who live their lives as Don Bosco himself described in the little booklet, Salesian Cooperators, or A Practical Way Of Leading A Good Life And Being A Good Citizen. The core of the Salesian Cooperators' commitment is to live his or her life as a good Christian and a good Catholic. The Salesian Cooperator embraces a Gospel way of life, sharing in the Church's mission to bring Christ to society, especially the young. About the Center:

Christmas will always be about GIVING. The FMA Sisters, ASC members & MHCC volunteer students prepared a short skit about the Nativity of Jesus, shared food & gifts, enjoyed games & performances all in the spirit of Christmas with the 3 oratory centers. A truly wonderful way to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ!

The Salesian Cooperators including Aspirants, Volunteer Parent Catechists, and the FMA Sisters and guests had a truly wonderful night together celebrating the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ. An evening of prayer, songs, food, games & a lot of laughter shared by people with the same mission for the young.

The Salesian Cooperators of Mary Help of Christians Canlubang Center joined the Cooperators from various 11 ASC centers of FIN in the annual spiritual retreat at Don Bosco Batulao Retreat House last Nov. 29-30, 2025. Retreat preacher, Fr. Drans Nolasco, SDB, facilitated the prayers, reflections, and instructions to help us deepen our faith, understand God’s will, and find spiritual enrichment.

The retreat having the theme “TRIP TO JERUSALEM” has called each of us to journey with Jesus from His triumphant entry to Jerusalem, to His passion and death, to His resurrection, and to His walk on the road to Emmaus. Every stage centers on the sacrificial love, call to fidelity of discipleship and service, and the redemptive power of suffering.

We again experienced to be in the place of spiritual refreshing and renewing as we were fully nourished by God’s Words into which we were immersed deeply during the 2 day-retreat.

The Provincial Formation kicked off with a dynamic Zumba dance to the tune of Soda Pop followed by Lauds and Prayers as this day coincides with the feast of St. Luke The Evangelist.

ASCs were warmly welcomed by Sr. Joy Impelido, FMA in the absence of Fr. Jay David, SDB and a short opening remarks by ASC Provincial Coordinator Yolanda Ortiz. Afterwards, Rev. Fr. Nesty Impelido, SDB, shared with so much passion and detail the “History of the ASC." A moving testament about the birth of ASC thru the initiative of St. John Bosco which continous to live on.

A Holy Mass officiated by Rev. Fr Sylvester Casaclang, SDB concelebrated with Rev Fr Jerry Santos, SDB culminated the activity. As Fr. Vester said, the ASCs were overflowing with joy. The kind of JOY that gives HOPE and brings us HEALING.

A reunion of kindred spirits took place during the annual Salesian Family Day in Joy Hall of Don Bosco Technical Institute in Makati on Sept. 13, 2025. This event brought together the groups of ADMA, FMA, Past Pupils of both SDB and FMA, VDB, CDB, SDB, ASC, Missionary Sisters of MHC, DAMAS, and Caritas Sisters of Jesus.

The program began with a Holy Mass in honor of St. John Chrysostom whose memorial we remembered on that day. Mass presider was Rev. Fr. Ronilo Basilio Javines, SDB, the FIN Father Provincial.

Video presentations of aforementioned family groups were shown highlighting their history, vision-mission, members, and activities. Everyone prayed in unison, "Glory Be", asking blessing and guidance for each association.

For his parting words, Fr. Vester reminded us of the poverty our world experiences at present: Praying, loving, making this world a little paradise; and so we turn to God to help and teach us fulfill all these.
