Scripture:
Psalms 23:3-4
3 he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his nameโ€™s sake. 4 Even though I walk through the darkest valley,[a]I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff they comfort me.

Observation:
David describes God as a loving shepherd who restores, guides, protects and comfort his people. Even in painful and fearful moments, those who believes in Jesus can live without fear because God is always there for us.

I. GOD RESTORES THE WEARY SOUL
God gives strength when we are tired and discouraged
He heals our brokenness and renews us
True restoration comes from His presence

II. GOD LEADS US IN THE RIGHT PATH
He guides us through righteousness and obedience
His direction is always for our good and for His Glory
God always knows what's best for us

III. GOD STAYS WITH US IN DARK VALLEYS
He is always there even in our downs in our life
God's promises never end in our darkest seasons
His presence gives courage and peace

IV. GOD COMFORTS AND PROTECTS HIS PEOPLE
The rod means comfortation
The staff symbolizes guidance and care
God lovingly guards and it directs us to His ways

Application:
I will always choose to trust in the promises of Jesus. Even in my darkest valleys I will look upon Jesus and will embrace His promises that He will never leave us in our darkest season of our life

Prayer:
Lord I thank you for everything. I will always remember all your promises and will trust you always. Even in my ups and downs i will forever lean on your promises and words. Thank you for your everlasting love. Amen

Scripture
Psalms 34:18-22 NIV
[18] The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. [19] The righteous person may have many troubles, but the Lord delivers him from them all; [20] he protects all his bones, not one of them will be broken. [21] Evil will slay the wicked; the foes of the righteous will be condemned. [22] The Lord will rescue his servants; no one who takes refuge in him will be condemned.

Observation
โ€ข Even when we feel weak, hopeless, or broken, God never leaves our side. He stays close to us during our hardest moments and gives us strength when we feel like giving up.
โ€ข Although righteous people may experience many troubles, God is always faithful to protect, guide, and deliver them.
โ€ข The Lord watches over His people and keeps them safe under His care. No matter what trials or struggles we face, Godโ€™s love and protection remain constant in our lives.

Application
Verse 22 says that the Lord rescues His servants and protects those who take refuge in Him. We should remain faithful, obedient, and trusting in God at all times. Even during difficulties, we must continue serving Him wholeheartedly because He is our protector, provider, and refuge. Instead of depending only on ourselves, we should rely on God and believe that He is always working for our good. By staying close to Him through prayer, worship, and reading His Word, we can experience His peace and protection every day.

Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for this new day and for the gift of life. Thank You for allowing me to read Your Word again, knowing that it gives me strength, comfort, and hope. Thank You for always being near whenever I feel weak, broken, or discouraged. Lord, help me to stay faithful and trust in You through every situation in my life. Remind me every day that You are my refuge and protector. Guide my heart, my mind, and my actions so that I may continue to serve You faithfully. Thank You for Your endless love, grace, and protection. In Jesusโ€™ name, Amen.

โ€œAng mga gumawa ng mga dios-diosan at nagtitiwala rito ay matutulad sa mga ito.โ€

โ€œHindi kayo makapaglilingkod nang sabay sa Diyos at sa kayamanan.โ€

Kapag sinabi nating โ€œidolo,โ€ madalas rebulto agad ang naiisip natin.

Pero maraming modern idols ngayon:

โ€ข Career
โ€ข Relationship
โ€ข Popularity
โ€ข Social media
โ€ข Sariling kagustuhan

โœจ Ano man ang mas mahal mo kaysa Diyos โ€” iyon ang idolo mo.

Makikita natin sa ating teksto:

1. Inilarawan ng Diyos ang Kanyang sarili bilang selosong Diyos.
2. May epekto sa susunod na henerasyon ang iyong pagsamba.

Would it be:

โ€ข Your career?
โ€ข Your reputation?
โ€ข Your security?
โ€ข Your God?

Anuman ang hindi mo kayang mawalaโ€ฆ iyon ang tunay mong sinasamba.

A. Kilalanin ang Diyos ayon sa Kanyang Salita.

โ€œAng paggalang sa akin ng bayang ito ay pakunwari lamang, sapagkat sa bibig at hindi sa puso ito bumubukal.โ€

โœจ Hindi sapat ang pagsamba na nasa labi lamang โ€” nais ng Diyos ang pusong tunay na sumusunod at nagmamahal sa Kanya.

Ang Sampung Utos ay hindi tanikala โ€” ito ay gabay ng pagmamahal ng Diyos.

Hindi ito ginawa upang sirain ang saya natin, kundi upang iligtas tayo sa kapahamakan.

At higit sa lahat, itinuturo tayo nito kay Jesus Christ โ€” ang tanging makakapagligtas sa atin.

Scripture:
Joshua 1:9
Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go."

Observation:
This verse reminds us that all through our life, the presence of God never fails. God is always on our side wherever we are. Through our journey, we should trust in our lord. There's no need to be anxious because He is always with us. He is our strength and courage.

Application
Learn that true bravery comes with our trust in our Lord. If there are challenges, face it with courage because God is our strength. If feeling confused, trust in the Lord because He is always in control. Always have faith that the promise of the Lord will never fail.

Prayer
Heavenly Father, I praised and gave thanks to You. Please forgive me for all the times that I feel worried and discouraged. However, despite that Lord, I give thanks to You. You never let me walk alone. Thank You for giving me strength and courage to face everything in life. Thank You for guiding me and making me feel Your presence. You made me learn how to trust and to be faithful in You. And all of this thankfulness is only for You Lord, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Scripture:
Psalm 24:4-5
The one who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not trust in an idol or swear by a false god. 5 They will receive blessing from the Lord and vindication from God their Savior.

Observation:
1. Only believe in God
- Gaya nga ng sabi sa Exodus 20:3 "You shall have no other gods before me." Don't believe in a false god, it shows us as to trust and believe only in God.
2. Will receive blessing from the Lord
- God values people who avoid wrongdoing and remain truthful. Jeremiah 17:7 "But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him."

Application:
Sinsabi sa atin na mamuhay nang may malinis na puso at tamang gawa. Be honest, truthful, and faithful to God. Live with sincerity and with kindness, have a pure heart dapat malinis at bukal sa puso ang intention natin.

Prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for guiding me today. Help us to have clean hands and a pure heart, and to always be honest, faithful, and kind. Teach us to trust only in you and follow your ways, because we know that every path you lead us on is good.

Scripture:
1 Juan 4:4b
"Mas dakila Siya na nasa iyo kaysa sa nasa sanlibutan."

Observations:
Binibigyang-diin ng talatang ito na ang kapangyari nahan ng Diyos sa loob ng mga mananampalataya ay nakahihigit sa anumang makamundong hamon o ang presensya ng Diyos sa mga mananampalataya ay nagpapanalo sa kanila laban sa kasamaan ng mundo. Ang bawat nakaraang labanan ay humubog sa atin para sa tagumpay ngayon.

Application:
Nais ng kaaway na pagdudahan natin ang ating lakas, ngunit nais ng Diyos na gamitin natin ito. Dala natin ang kadakilaan dahil ang Diyos Mismo ay nabubuhay sa atin. Bumangon nang may kumpiyansa- inaalalayan tayo ng langit, hindi tayo masisira ng labanang ito; ihahayag nito sa atin.

Prayer:
Manalangin tayo Po: Amang Diyos, salamat na sa pamamagitan ng pananampalataya kay Kristo, nagtagumpay kami sa mga kaaway na naghahangad sa aming pagbagsak at pagbagsak ng mga mahal namin. Panginoong Hesus, kami ay nagpakumbaba sa katotohanan na ang Iyong presensya ay kasama namin palagi, na nananahan ka sa loob namin, at ang Iyong pag-ibig ang aming palaging kasama. Scripture
Job 22:28
Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.

Observation
This verse reminded me that God guides my life and helps me through every situation. When I trust Him, He will lead me to the right path.

Application
I will apply this verse in my daily life by trusting God in every plan and decision that I make. There are times when I feel worried, confused, or afraid about my future, but this verse reminds me that God is always with me and will guide me in the right direction. Instead of doubting myself and overthinking problems, I will pray and ask for His wisdom and guidance. I will continue to work hard, stay faithful, and believe that God has a purpose for everything happening in my life. Even when things do not go the way I want, I will trust that His plans are better than mine.

Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for always being by my side and guiding my path. Teach me to trust in Your plans even when I do not understand everything happening in my life. Give me strength, wisdom, and courage to face every challenge with faith. May Your light continue to lead me and help me become a better person each day. Amen.
