A SCHOOL SHOULD BE A PLACE TO LEARN, NOT A PLACE TO FEAR FOR YOUR LIFE. 🕊️🤍

With the heartbreaking school violence happening in our country, last Sunday’s KKB Powerhouse felt especially timely. Through “Teach Me a Lesson: Empathy, Respect, Protection Bureau,” we were reminded of a lesson we can’t afford to ignore: how we treat people matters.

KKBs, our words can build or break. Our attitude can heal or hurt. And our strength can either harm or protect.

So may we choose empathy over indifference, respect over humiliation, courage over silence, and love over hatred. We may not be able to change every situation around us, but we can choose what kind of people we become. May we become people who listen before we speak, build others up, stand against what is wrong, and use our strength to protect those who are vulnerable.

May we raise a generation that doesn’t just know how to be strong, but knows how to use that strength to protect others.

And as KKBs, let’s saturate our campuses with the Word of God. Let’s be a generation that carries Christ into our classrooms, friendships, and every space we step into.

Jesus is Lord over our schools. Jesus is Lord over our campuses. Jesus is Lord over our generation!

Due to the continuous rain and anticipated unfavorable weather conditions, tomorrow’s Prayer Revival Night is POSTPONED for everyone’s safety and well-being.

In the meantime, let us continue to remain in a spirit of prayer, seeking God and longing for His presence even in the midst of the rain. We encourage everyone to JOIN OUR DAILY DAWN WATCH at 5:30 AM via Zoom and continue to lift our country in prayer especially those affected by the heavy rains and flooding.

Stay safe, everyone. Let’s keep praying for our nation.
