SOLEMNITY OF SAINT JOSEPH I March 19

PRAYER TO SAINT JOSEPH
(by Pope Francis)

Hail, Guardian of the Redeemer,
Spouse of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
To you God entrusted his only Son;
in you Mary placed her trust;
with you Christ became man.

Blessed Joseph, to us too,
show yourself a father
and guide us in the path of life.
Obtain for us grace, mercy and courage,
and defend us from every evil.

Amen.

St. Joseph,
pray for us.

SEMANA SANTA 2024: Sa darating na Linggo, Marso 17, ay papasok tayo sa huling dalawang linggo ng kuwaresma. Ang panahong ito ay tradisyonal na tinatawag na “PASSIONTIDE.”

Binibigyang diin sa panahong ito ang Dakilang Pag-ibig ng Diyos na naisakatuparan sa pamamagitan ng pag-aalay ng buhay ng Panginoong Hesus sa Krus. Ang Pagbibigay diin sa PAGLILIGTAS NA ITO NG DIYOS ang siyang layunin din ng pagtatakip sa mga banal na imahen ng simbahan. Binibigyan tayo ng simbahan ng isang malamlam na kapaligiran upang mas mapalalim natin ang ating pakikiisa sa mga hapis ng Panginoon. Sa larangan ng edukasyon, ang ganitong pamamaraan ay tinatawag na “teaching through the reflective process.”
