Many people see crying as a sign of weakness, defeat, or hopelessness.

But when you have encountered the 𝙜𝙤𝙤𝙙𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙛𝙖𝙞𝙩𝙝𝙛𝙪𝙡𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙂𝙤𝙙, you learn that tears are not always a sign that we have lost the battle. Sometimes, they are the moment we surrender the battle to the One who is greater than us.

Why do Christians cry, especially when they pray?

Throughout Scripture, we see people who came before God with tears. They did not hide their brokenness, silence their pain, or pretend to be strong. They came as they were—burdened, vulnerable, and completely dependent on God.

Sometimes, there are burdens too deep for words, prayers that cannot be spoken, and pain that can only be expressed through tears. So cry before Him. Pour out your heart to Him.

God does not reject us in our vulnerability. He meets us there, carries what we can no longer carry, and gives us strength when ours is gone.

Every tear has a story. Every cry carries a burden. And every silent prayer is known by God.

Crying is not always a sign of weakness. Sometimes, our tears are the prayers our hearts cannot put into words.

“You have kept count of my tossings; put my tears in your bottle. Are they not in your book?” — Psalm 56:8

As Christians, we may cry in moments of pain, fear, disappointment, gratitude, compassion, or surrender. Whatever the reason, God sees every tear, hears every cry, and knows the story behind each one.

𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝘂𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗱. 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝘂𝗻𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗱.

Take another look at last Sunday’s sermon, allow God’s Word to remind you that you can bring every burden before Him, and come ready to receive another powerful message this Sunday! 🤍

🗒️ There are many kinds of cries—cries of pain, fear, frustration, loneliness, joy, gratitude, and even tears we cannot explain. But whatever kind of cry it may be, God sees every tear and hears every cry. 🤍

Our tears are not a sign of weakness. They are reminders that we can bring every emotion, every burden, and every struggle before God. He knows what we are going through, and not a single tear goes unnoticed by Him.

When you cry, remember: God sees you, God hears you, and God cares. 🙏

“𝗔𝗻𝗴 𝗞𝗝 𝗺𝗼 𝗻𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗻.”
“𝗝𝘂𝗱𝗴𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗺𝗼 𝗻𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗺𝗮𝘀𝘆𝗮𝗱𝗼.”
“𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗸𝗮?”

The moment you choose to live according to the righteousness God has given you, the world may question you. It may call you KJ, judgmental, or too religious simply because you choose to say NO to things that do not align with God’s ways.

That is how the enemy works—attacking what your heart believes, confusing your convictions, and pulling you away from your conscience.

Perhaps it is difficult to go against the standards of the world. But who created the world in the first place? Who should be the standard of it? And who are we to redefine righteousness when we are sinners in the first place? Being righteous does not mean being perfect or without flaws. It means choosing to practice what is right, allowing God’s righteousness to shape our character, and letting His Word guide the way we live.

We are sinners saved by grace. Our righteousness is not something we can boast about—it is something we have received through Christ. And because we have received it, we are called to embody it.

“𝙇𝙞𝙩𝙩𝙡𝙚 𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙙𝙧𝙚𝙣, 𝙡𝙚𝙩 𝙣𝙤 𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙙𝙚𝙘𝙚𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪. 𝙒𝙝𝙤𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙥𝙧𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙚𝙨 𝙧𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩𝙚𝙤𝙪𝙨𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙞𝙨 𝙧𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩𝙚𝙤𝙪𝙨, 𝙖𝙨 𝙝𝙚 𝙞𝙨 𝙧𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩𝙚𝙤𝙪𝙨.”— 1 𝙅𝙤𝙝𝙣 3:7 𝙀𝙎𝙑

So when the world asks, “Perfect ka?”
Our answer doesn't have to be,“Yes.”

It can simply be:

No. "But I am choosing to live according to the One who is.”

Guard your heart. Practice righteousness. Live what you believe.

Because wearing the "𝗕𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗥𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗲𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀" is not about looking perfect—it is about allowing Christ to shape the way you live.🛡❤
