Join Us Tomorrow For The Final Day of Flores de María

As we conclude this month of prayer and devotion to our Blessed Mother, we thank everyone who joined and took part in this beautiful offering of flowers, prayers, and Marian hymn in her honor.

With grateful hearts, let us continue to pray
for our country, leaders, community, and one another, as well as for peace in the world and
an end to war, through Mary’s intercession.

Our Lady of Mount Carmel, pray for us.

Let us gather once more in prayer and love as we honor our Mother. Please bring flowers for the offering.

“Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of Your faithful
and kindle in them the fire of Your love.”

Today, as Fr. Manny invites us to invoke the Holy Spirit, we are reminded of these reflections:

1. The Holy Spirit renews and recreates us.
God transforms our evil desires into goodness, straightens our crooked ways, and renews our hearts. May the Holy Spirit touch not only our lives but also the hearts of our leaders and all people, that together we may help renew the face of the earth.

2. Through the Holy Spirit, we are able to call on Jesus and profess our faith. The Holy Spirit gives us courage to proclaim that Jesus is Lord and inspires us to share our gifts for the building up of the Body of Christ, the Church.

3. We invoke the Holy Spirit to fill our lives with faith, hope, and charity. In a world marked by despair, doubt, and disbelief, may the Holy Spirit strengthen our faith, deepen our love, and renew our hope in God. May we continue to trust in His care and mercy.

Prayer of St. Augustine to the Holy Spirit

Breathe in me, O Holy Spirit,
that my thoughts may be holy.
Act in me, O Holy Spirit,
that my work, too, may be holy.
Draw my heart, O Holy Spirit,
that I love what is holy.
Strengthen me, O Holy Spirit,
to defend what is holy.
Guard me, then, O Holy Spirit,
that I may always be holy. Amen.

May the Holy Spirit renew our faith, strengthen our hope, and lead us to be true witnesses of Christ.

FLORES DE MARÍA 2026

We invite everyone to join our Flores de María devotion as we honor our Blessed Mother through prayer and the offering of flowers.

Hail Mary, full of grace,
In every bloom, we seek your face.
Blessed are you among all,
To you, dear Mother, now we call.

With flowers laid at your feet,
Our love and prayers, gentle and sweet,
Guide us always to your Son,
Until our earthly race is done.

As we offer flowers, we also lift up our prayers and intentions for our families, our community, the sick and the dying, the souls in purgatory, our country, and the whole world.

Let us also offer our gratitude, our struggles, and our hopes. May this act of devotion draw us closer to Jesus through Mary, and may she continue to intercede for us.

Our Lady of Mount Carmel, pray for us.

📍Flower offering will be held tomorrow during the 9:00 AM Holy Mass. Kindly bring flowers as your offering.

SOLEMNITY OF PENTECOST
📅 May 24, 2026 | 9:00 AM

“Come, Holy Spirit!”

Tomorrow, we celebrate the Solemnity of Pentecost, the descent of the Holy Spirit and the birthday of the Church . As the Spirit filled the hearts of the Apostles with courage, wisdom, and zeal, may He also renew and strengthen us to become faithful witnesses of Christ’s love.

Like the disciples gathered in prayer, may we open our hearts to the Holy Spirit and allow His presence to fill our community with unity, joy, peace, and renewed faith.

We warmly invite everyone to join us tomorrow as we celebrate the Holy Eucharist together.

Solemnity of the Ascension of the Lord

As we celebrate the Solemnity of the Ascension of the Lord, we are reminded of Jesus’ victory over sin and death and His return to the Father in glory. Before ascending into heaven, Jesus entrusted His disciples with the mission to “go and make disciples of all nations,” proclaiming the Good News to all.

We too are called to be witnesses of Christ through our faith, words, and actions. May we have the courage and perseverance to share His message of hope and salvation.

We also celebrate the 60th World Communications Day with the theme “Preserving Human Voices and Faces,” chosen by Pope Leo, reminding us to uphold truth, dignity, and empathy in communication.

We warmly invite everyone to join us tomorrow in the celebration of the Holy Mass.

📖 Readings for the Mass:
• First Reading:
Acts 1:1–11

• Responsorial Psalm:
Psalm 47:2–3, 6–7, 8–9
God mounts His throne to shouts of joy; a blare of trumpets for the Lord.

• Second Reading:
Ephesians 1:17–23

• Gospel:
Matthew 28:16–20

During the Mass, we will have:

• Flores de Maria — a flower offering to Our Lady of Mount Carmel (Everyone is encouraged to bring flowers as an offering.)

• Blessing of Children

All are welcome. See you tomorrow!

FLORES DE MARIA 2026

As we continue our third week of Flores de Maria, we invite everyone to join us again this Sunday as we offer flowers to Our Lady of Mount Carmel.

Together with our flowers, let us also lift our country in prayer:

May our leaders remember that public office is a call to serve with humility, honesty, and justice. May our institutions uphold truth and accountability.

May the Filipino people remain united in faith, compassion, and hope despite challenges and divisions. In times of confusion and falsehood, may they discern the truth with wisdom. May truth prevail, and may wisdom guide those who lead our nation.

May our leaders work sincerely for peace, healing, justice, and the good of all. May every Filipino find strength in prayer, courage in truth, and hope in God’s mercy.

We ask all these through the intercession of our Inay, Our Lady of Mount Carmel. Pray for us. Amen.
