A historic gathering for the Altar Servers of our Vicariate!

As we celebrate the First Vicariate Lingkod ng Dambana Assembly, we come together as one family of servant-leaders, united in faith, service, and mission. This assembly marks the beginning of a stronger collaboration among the parishes of our Vicariate as we deepen our commitment to Christ and His Church.

Guided by the theme “One Vicariate, One Ministry, One Mission: Leadership through Unity,” we seek to strengthen our leadership, foster fraternity, and inspire one another to serve with greater dedication and purpose.

May this gathering renew our hearts, deepen our spirituality, and empower us to become faithful witnesses of Christ in our parishes and communities.

We had a meaningful Formation session earlier. The session was led by Kuya Dhan, our guest Formator, who wholeheartedly shared insights on what it truly means to be a Servant of the Altar — not just a duty, but a calling from the heart to serve with love and faithfulness.

We were also reminded of St. Tarcisius, our patron, whose courage and unwavering devotion in protecting the Holy Eucharist continue to inspire us in every Mass we serve.

Thank you, Kuya D, for sharing your time and knowledge with us today. We'll keep what you taught us in our hearts as we renew our commitment.

“I would rather die than give the Holy Eucharist to desecrators.” ✝️

𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟭𝟱, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 | 𝗙𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝘁. 𝗧𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘂𝘀
𝘗𝘢𝘵𝘳𝘰𝘯 𝘚𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘈𝘭𝘵𝘢𝘳 𝘚𝘦𝘳𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘴 🤍🕊️

St. Tarcisius was a young Christian boy who lived in Rome during the 3rd century, at the time of the persecution of Christians under Emperor Valerian. He served the Church by assisting the priests and was entrusted with carrying the Holy Eucharist to Christians who were imprisoned and unable to attend Mass.

While bringing the Blessed Sacrament, he was stopped by a group of people who demanded to see what he was carrying. He refused to give it up and protected the Eucharist with his life — he was attacked and died a martyr because of his deep love and devotion to Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. ✨

As altar servers, his courage reminds us of how precious the Holy Eucharist truly is. His unwavering faith teaches us to serve with reverence, devotion, and courage.

Hindi man natin kailangang ialay ang buhay natin tulad niya, tinatawag pa rin tayong maglingkod nang buong puso, manatiling matatag sa ating pananampalataya, at laging ipakita ang nararapat na paggalang sa Banal na Eukaristiya. 🤍

May we stand firm in our faith and serve with the same courage and devotion that St. Tarcisius showed. 🕊️

Mula sa St. Joseph the Worker Parish - Canlubang, nais naming batiin ang ating mahal na Obispo, Most Rev. Fr. Marcelino Antonio Maralit, Jr. D.D., sa kanyang ika-31 na taon ng Sacerdotal Anniversary at ika-11th na taon ng Episcopal Anniversary.

Nawa'y patuloy po kayong gabayan ng ating butihing Panginoon sa iyong misyon na magpahayag ng Mabuting Balita. Higit sa lahat, nawa'y patuloy din po kayong maging inspirasyon at mabuting ehemplo sa nakakarami. Patuloy naming ipinagdarasal na kayo nawa ay pagkalooban ng kalakasan at katatagan upang maibahagi pa ang iyong misyon.
