The conferment of the Order of St. Stephen to 1Lt John Frederick Savellano, a former CFC Kids for Christ and Youth for Christ member from Metro Manila East B, honors not only an act of heroism during the 2017 Marawi siege in the Philippines, but a life deeply rooted in faith and relationship to God.

Presented by Bro. Rey Reyes of Missio Amare and received by his parents, Freddie and Mercy Savellano, the tribute reflected the formation of a son who grew to be responsible, principled, and God-fearing. 🎖️

CFC Chairman/President Arnel Santos shared how the CFC theme for 2026 was not just a slogan nor a catchy phrase. It is a spirituality: a deep, personal conviction that will mark our spiritual journey to fellowship, communion, and oneness. 🧡💚

Their testimony reminds us of the overflowing joy and abundant grace that come from fully surrendering our families and our lives to the Lord.

For Bro. Lawrence Quintero, evangelization is not just about the act of inviting people to our CLPs and community activities. 👟

It is about pursuing them until they are able to join us and finish the CLP or grow faithfully as the attend households and assemblies. Until they become leaders as well—and partake in our mission. Only then must our joy be complete.

CFC leaders were led into a spirit-filled opening worship by Bro. Patrick Thong of CFC Singapore, who reminded us that there is no better time to offer praise and thanksgiving—for the gift of life, family, and community. 💝

For Bro. Patrick, gratitude, even amid hardship, is an act of worship. Choosing to be present for the Lord, even while carrying joy or struggle, is already an act of worship. As the responsorial psalm proclaims: “The Lord takes delight in His people. Sing to the Lord a new song in the assembly of the faithful.”
