A NEW MONTH. A FRESH JOY. A STRONGER FAITH.

It’s the first Sunday of October, and we’re gathering again in God’s presence for our Communion Sunday. 🍞🍷

Whatever the past months looked like, we can step into this new one with hope, knowing that the joy of the Lord is our strength.

When life gets hard, keep doing what is good. 🤍

Last Sunday, we were reminded to keep our hope in Christ, stay patient in difficult seasons, and never stop praying.

We may not have control over every situation, but we can always choose to trust God.

Prayer is our shield. Prayer is our weapon. Prayer is power.

Whatever season you’re in, remember: God is near. God is good. God is faithful.

As we begin October and continue celebrating 48 years of God’s faithfulness through JIL, let’s come together tonight not just to ask from Him, but to simply draw near to our Abba Father.

The One who has carried us through generations is still the One we can run to, trust, and call on today.

One more Sunday. One more reason to come back to His presence. 🤍

It’s the last Sunday of the month. Before we step into another one, let’s pause, worship, and thank God for carrying us through. For everything we prayed for, everything we’re still waiting for, and everything we didn’t even know we needed—God has been faithful.

Maybe home is one of the first places where we learn what God’s love looks like.

Last Sunday, we were reminded that family is not simply about sharing a space—it’s about choosing love, extending grace, serving one another, and growing together through every season. It’s in the little things—the prayers we pray, the grace we extend and the love we choose every day.

When God is at the center of our homes, His light shines beyond our walls. May our families be places where faith grows, love is lived out, and His presence is known.

Last March, a simple prayer request was shared: an OFW in Hong Kong had undergone surgery for an aneurysm, but complications followed. She was alone there, while her family was miles away in the Philippines.

The situation looked hopeless. But the family kept praying.

And God moved.

What began as a prayer request became a testimony of His grace, faithfulness, and power.

Sometimes, all we can do is pray. And sometimes, prayer is exactly where the breakthrough begins. 🙏🏻

All glory belongs to Jesus!
