Col 1:18, Eph 1:22, Eph 5:23, 1 Cor 3:11 Neither are we inter-denominational, and non-institutional. We are simply Christians, members of the body of Christ (Acts 11:26; Eph. 1:22-23). Collectively, we refer to ourselves as the Church of Christ, church of God the church of the first born, or any other scriptural description to identify ourselves as the saved people belonging to Christ (Mt. 16:18-
19; Ro. 16:16; Acts 20:28; Heb. 12:23). The Church is the saved (Eph. 5:23), the result of our salvation (Acts 2:47). Faithfulness is to the Lords, not to the church (Rev. 2:10). Col 1:18, Eph 1:22, Eph 5:23, 1 Cor 3:11
We have no human creed/tradition to follow (Mt.15). The Bible alone governs us in faith and conduct. We recognized the guiding principles of the Old Testament but, we follow the rules and patterns of the New Testament (Heb.1:1-2; 8:7-13). We accept the Bible as being both verbally inspired and infallible in content (2Pet.1:20-21; 1Cor.2:11-13). When the Bible speaks upon any given subject, its pronouncement is accepted as final. It cannot be broken (Jn.10:35). No one may add or even subtract from it (Deut.4:2; Prov.30:6; Isa.34:16; 1 Cor.4:6; Rev.22:18-19).
