𝐌𝐀𝐘 𝟐𝟓 | 𝐌𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐕𝐢𝐫𝐠𝐢𝐧 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐲, 𝐌𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐡𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐡

On this day, we honor Mary, Mother of Jesus under her beautiful title as Mother of the Church—she who lovingly accompanies the followers of her Son and continues to care for His Body, the Church.

Given to us by Jesus Christ from the Cross, Mary became the mother of all believers, a source of comfort, guidance, and unwavering faith. In her “yes” to God, she teaches us perfect discipleship—trusting completely in His will and remaining faithful even in times of suffering.

As Mother of the Church, she gathers us in unity, strengthens us in hope, and leads us always closer to her Son. Her presence reminds us that the Church is not only a community of believers, but a family held together in love.

As we celebrate her memorial, may we entrust ourselves to her maternal care. May she intercede for the Church throughout the world, guiding us to live in faith, hope, and charity each day.

On this day, we give thanks to God for the birth of St. Padre Pio—priest, stigmatist, and faithful servant of Christ, whose life continues to inspire countless believers around the world.

Born on May 25, 1887, St. Padre Pio lived a life deeply united with the Passion of our Lord Jesus Christ. Through prayer, sacrifice, and unwavering trust in God, he became a powerful witness of holiness, humility, and love for the Church.

His ministry at San Giovanni Rotondo was marked by compassion for sinners, dedication to the Sacrament of Confession, and a profound devotion to the Holy Eucharist. Even in suffering, he embraced the cross with faith, reminding us that grace is perfected in weakness.

As we celebrate his 139th birthday, we thank God for the gift of his life and witness. May St. Padre Pio continue to intercede for us, guiding us to deeper prayer, stronger faith, and greater love for God and neighbor.
