TINGNAN | One with Christ

Kanina, isinagawa ng kabataan ni Maria ng Fatima ang pagdarasal ng Santo Rosaryo at harana sa Mahal na Birhen kasama ang ating katuwang na lingkod-pari, Rdo. Padre Louis Angelo Mangunay. Ito ay bilang pakikiisa sa aktibidad ng Vicariate of Saint John the Baptist Youth Commission na tinatawag na "One with Christ".

IN-PHOTOS | PYC RENEWAL AND OATH-TAKING

Bilang pagdiriwang ng National Youth Day, muling nanumpa ang mga kasapi ng Lider-Kabataan ng Parokya ng Mahal na Birhen ng Fatima, tanda ng panibagong pagtugon sa tawag ng paglilingkod, pananampalataya, at pagmamahal sa Simbahan.

Mula sa puso, lubos na pasasalamat ang iniaalay sa mga dating lider na naging haligi at huwaran ng tapat na paglilingkod; sa kanilang mga payo, sakripisyo, at patuloy na paggabay, nahubog ang mga pusong handang magpatuloy ng misyon. Para sa mga bagong namumunong kabataan, maging huwarang halimbawa nawa kayo ng mabuti at mapagkumbabang paglilingkod kalakbay ng mga kabataan ng Diyos.

Lubos din ang aming pasasalamat sa ating Kura Paroko, Rdo. Pd. David O. Reyes Jr., sa kanyang walang sawang paggabay at pagtitiwala sa kabataan โ€” isang paalala na sa loob ng Simbahan, ang kabataan ay hindi lamang kinabukasan, kundi kasalukuyang buhay at lakas ng sambayanan ng Diyos.

"Since youth constitute a large and dynamic portion of the laity, the youth ministry should be assured of the fullest attention and highest priority in every way by all in the Church." - Second Plenary Council of the Philippines (P*P II), art. 50, no. 2.

Tomorrow, December 16, on which begins the nine-day Aguinaldo Masses in honor of the Blessed Virgin Mary and offered "for the perseverance of the nation in the faith" (cf. Ordo 2026), is also our yearly NATIONAL YOUTH DAY! Let us support Catholic youth ministry in the Philippines through our prayers, collaboration, and financial aid.

"At the start of the Christmas novena, the Church in the Philippines celebrates the presence of the youth. The collections of all Masses are for the youth ministry and to be submitted to the Local Ordinary within 15 days and divided accordingly: 70% to the Diocesan Youth Ministry, and 30% to the CBCP-Episcopal Commission on Youth." (Ordo 2026).

We are deeply grateful for the continued support of the diocesan youth ministries. Their support in promoting this collection is key, as 70% of the proceeds are allocated back to them."
