Diocesan bishops and clerics may be members of the Third Order for all effects and purposes and can take a full part in all its activities, although without lay characteristics insofar as this would be incompatible with their clerical state.

As we celebrate the Feast of the Queenship of the Blessed Virgin Mary, we accept Sem. John Carlo M. Hernandez of the Diocese of Lucena in the Clerical Fraternity of the Third Order of Carmelites. The Rites of Admission was held at the Our Lady of Peace and Good Voyage Parish, Ponon, Atimonan, Quezon.

The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass and the sacred Rites were solemnly presided over by Rev. Fr. Warren R. Puno, OFS, Paring Kinaawaan Ng Diyos our Parish Priest, celebrated in a spirit of deep reverence and abounding communal joy.

Today, on the Octave of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel and feastday of the Carmelite Martyrs of Compiegne, the first officers of the Federation Council of the Clerical Fraternity of the Third Order was officially installed. The rites was presided by the Provincial Delegate to the TOC Clerics, Fr. Esmeraldo Reforeal, OCarm. The Mass and Rites was held at St. Teresa of Avila Chapel, Acacia St., Brgy. Mariana, Quezon City.

After the rites, the first planning meeting of the Federation Council was held and the Prior Provincial shortly graced the meeting. Let us pray for the Federation Officers for the success of the plans for the Clerical Fraternities.
