We are fragile clay jars, but within us is a treasure beyond measureโthe light and life of Jesus Christ. Paul reminds us that we have received this ministry by Godโs mercy, not our merit, and that the surpassing power belongs to God, not to us. Our cracks, weaknesses, and broken places do not make us useless; they can become the very places where Godโs grace and power are revealed. We do not have to hide our imperfections or compare our โjarsโ with others, because God is not looking for perfect vesselsโHe desires willing ones that will carry and proclaim Christ.
Therefore, we do not lose heart. We may be pressed, perplexed, persecuted, and struck down, yet we are not destroyed because God sustains us. Our calling is not to control everything, but to faithfully carry the treasure He has entrusted to us and point others to Jesus. We are just clay pots, but we carry Christโand His light can shine brightly through our cracks, so that others may see that the power comes from God and not from us. ๐๐ปโจ
