๐Ÿ“– โ€œYou will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.โ€ โ€” Jeremiah 29:13 NIV

After four wonderful days of learning, worship, games, and fellowship, our young treasure hunters have completed their journey of discovering the true riches found in Christ. Together, they learned about the Treasure of Wisdom, Safety, Love, and Joyโ€”treasures that point us to Jesus, the greatest Treasure of all.

As we celebrate this graduation, our prayer is that every child will continue seeking Jesus with all their heart, growing in His Word, and sharing His love with others. Congratulations, VBS 2026 graduates! May your treasure hunt with Jesus continue every day. ๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ†

On our last day before graduation, we discovered ๐“๐ก๐ž ๐“๐ซ๐ž๐š๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ž ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐‰๐จ๐ฒ from Luke 19:1-10. Through the story of Zacchaeus, the children learned that ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐ ๐ซ๐ž๐š๐ญ๐ž๐ฌ๐ญ ๐ก๐š๐ฉ๐ฉ๐ข๐ง๐ž๐ฌ๐ฌ ๐ข๐ฌ ๐ญ๐จ ๐›๐ž ๐ฐ๐ข๐ญ๐ก ๐‰๐ž๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฌ. True joy is found not in what we have, but in a relationship with Him.

On Day 3, we discovered ๐“๐ก๐ž ๐“๐ซ๐ž๐š๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ž ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐‹๐จ๐ฏ๐ž from John 12:1-8. Through Mary's act of devotion, the children learned that ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐Ž๐ง๐ž ๐ฐ๐ก๐จ ๐๐ž๐ฌ๐ž๐ซ๐ฏ๐ž๐ฌ ๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ ๐›๐ž๐ฌ๐ญ ๐ฅ๐จ๐ฏ๐ž ๐ข๐ฌ ๐‰๐ž๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฌ. On Day 2, we discovered ๐“๐ก๐ž ๐“๐ซ๐ž๐š๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ž ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐’๐š๐Ÿ๐ž๐ญ๐ฒ from Luke 12:13-21. Through the parable of the rich fool, the children learned that the safest way to store our riches is not by keeping them for ourselves, but by spending them for Jesus and His kingdom.

Our treasure hunt began with ๐“๐ก๐ž ๐“๐ซ๐ž๐š๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ž ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐–๐ข๐ฌ๐๐จ๐ฆ from Matthew 2:1-12. The children learned from the wise men that the wisest thing anyone can do is to seek Jesus more than anything else.

โ€œAnd afterward, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions.โ€ โ€” Joel 2:28 NIV

The challenge for us is to continually desire the presence of the Holy Spirit in our lives. This means living with spiritual awareness every dayโ€”walking in obedience and according to the power of the Holy Spirit, allowing Him to guide our thoughts, actions, and way of life.
