Blessings in the Word Community is a member-body of the Philippine Council of Evangelical Churches (PCEC). Our Purpose:

"To glorify God by sparking Home Prayer Meeting movements in every barangay of Metro Tagaytay and beyond"

Together with our Sis. Charisma Delos Reyes is Sis. Maida Pulido of JRAM Asia, the voice behind the songs โ€œBanal Mong Tahananโ€ and โ€œEmmanuel.โ€

A faithful servant of Christ with a heart for indigenous missions and a passion for simply preaching the Gospel, Sis. Maida will be our Guest Preacher at the 3rd Anniversary of Blessings in the Word Calaca, Batangas next month.

She will be speaking on the theme โ€œProvidence.โ€

This VPM consists of four university students from UST, Mapรบa, AUP, and BatStateU, alongside one senior high school student from Calaca. Our hope is that this discipleship group will help them discover Godโ€™s purpose for their lives and, prayerfully, prepare them to serve as future church elders/leaders, regardless of their chosen professions.

Our key learnings:

โ€œTayo ay pinili ng Diyos upang maging kawangis ng Kanyang Anak (Roma 8:29).โ€

โ€œDahil pinili ka ng Diyos, pillin mo din Siya.โ€

โ€œMahalaga ang spiritual disciplines gaya ng โ€˜verticalโ€™ habits (Word and Prayer) at โ€˜horizontalโ€™ habits (witnessing and fellowship).โ€

โ€œOur conversion is our ordination to the ministry.โ€

โ€œTo become more like You, God, is a glorious thing. You are what I desire most.โ€

โ€œHelp me see You in everythingโ€”in fire, in food, and in every situation You allow in my life.โ€

โ€œFor your Quiet Time, identify your TPP: Time, Place, and Plan.โ€

โ€œIn prayer, the ACTS mental guide could help: Adoration, Confession, Thanksgiving and Supplication.โ€

โ€œI know You are working, You are working all things, all things for Your glory and my good. Lord You will accomplish everything You promised, all things for Your glory and my good.โ€
