What an unforgettable 3 days filled with laughter, tears, growth, and God’s presence!

28 youth from Unity Baptist Church and Disciples of Christ Baptist Church–Yabu gathered together not just as attendees, but as a family united in Christ. Over the course of 3 days, we laughed, cried, played, worshipped, shared testimonies, and created memories that we will never forget.

Our first Challenge Hour, led by Ptr. Joey Piano, encouraged everyone to reflect deeply, followed by small group sharing where testimonies were openly shared. One of the most meaningful moments was the “Range Corner,” where balloons were thrown as a symbol of letting go of past burdens and hurts.

The second day was just as powerful. Ate Eva led the 2nd Challenge Hour, reminding us to always keep our hearts in check before the Lord. The afternoon was filled with fun games and fellowship, while the evening Challenge Hour once again led us closer to God.

We ended the night with a joyful boodle fight and a heartfelt bonfire, where many shared their burdens, testimonies, and commitments to God.

This summit was more than just an event—it was a journey of faith, friendship, healing, and surrender. The joy and memories we shared will forever remain in our hearts.

“Slaying the Giants” wasn’t just a theme, it became our testimony.

During BCYA Summer Youth Camp 2026 (May 18–22 at International Baptist Church), our group of 5 campers and 4 staff witnessed how God moves in powerful ways.

Through every message, activity, and connection, we were reminded that with God, we can overcome anything.

We leave the camp changed, strengthened, and ready to slay our giants.

Sun, Sand, and Soul-Filling Moments!

From May 8–9, we took a well-deserved breather at Ocean Beach Resort, Pasacao, to celebrate the conclusion of our DVBS. After all the hard work and energy poured into the kids, this getaway at Balogo Pasacao was the perfect reward.

Between the hilarious games in the middle of the ocean and the quiet moments of fellowship, our hearts remained centered on the One who makes it all possible. We played hard, laughed harder, and never missed a beat in singing praises to the Lord!

Honoring Our Mothers at UBC-Calabanga

A beautiful celebration doesn't need to be grand to be meaningful. Yesterday, our church family at Unity Baptist Church-Calabanga gathered for a simple yet heart-filling tribute to the women who give us so much.

It was a day of beautiful contrasts, the room was filled with laughter one moment and moved to tears the next. The highlight for many was hearing our young people share sincere messages of gratitude; there wasn't a dry eye in the house as they expressed just how much their mothers mean to them.

To all the mothers of UBC: You are loved, you are appreciated, and you are a reflection of God's grace in our lives. Happy Mother’s Day!
