๐ฃ DIOCESAN LAY ASSEMBLY 2026
"Walking Together in Communion, Participation, and Mission"
"Maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace." (Ephesians 4:3)
The Diocese of Romblon, through the Romblon Diocesan Council of the Laity (RDCL) in collaboration with the Diocesan Commission on the Laity, will hold the Diocesan Lay Assembly on 24โ26 July 2026 at Magnificat, Romblon.
This Assembly will gather representatives from the 30 parishes of the Diocese, Lay Organizations, Movements and Associations (LOMAs), the Diocesan Youth Ministry (DYM), the Romblon Diocesan Seminarians Association (RODSA), and Global ROMA for three days of prayer, Eucharistic celebration, formation, dialogue, discernment, and organizational renewal in the spirit of synodality.
The Assembly will feature presentations by Rev. Fr. Albert F. Fietas, Rev. Fr. Elizalde R. Rafol, Albert A. Loytero (President, Sangguniang Laiko ng Pilipinas), Naderev M. Saรฑo (Global Chairperson, Laudato Si' Movement), and Prof. Pablito A. Baybado, PhD. It will also include the presentation of the Diocesan Synodality Survey, deliberation on the proposed RDCL Constitution and By-Laws, election of the new RDCL Governing Council, and initial preparations for the Diocese's celebration of National Laity Week 2026.
We invite our parish lay leaders, lay ministries, organizations, movements, and associations to actively participate in this important diocesan gathering as we continue to build a Church that walks together in communion, participation, and mission.
