In 1994, an outreach of a church started as Hope in Christ Fellowship, a “Chapel hour” of Hope Academy in Grandvalley Subdivision Angono Rizal. This led to a regular Sunday Service, recognized as a church by its mother church named as Touch Community Fellowship after 2 years. It composed of 2 Pastors with maximum of 15 members who are mostly students of the said school. It continued to grow and be
came a self-sustaining church as Forerunners of Christ Ministries, recognizing its members’ role as Christians. This church continued its ministries in Angono Rizal, focusing on the youth and children of the community including its outreach ministries in Cainta Rizal. The church was faithful to God’s provision and decided to rent a place for the regular Sunday Service initially in Montevista Cainta Rizal and another decision to transfer to Sampalucan Cainta after 3 months. A community church was formed and stayed in the place for 7 months.
2001 came and exactly during the first Sunday of December when the place prepared by the Lord for the church was used and called as Glendale Christian Fellowship. It has been a prayer of its members to have a place of its own or at least be able to use a place without a rent. God is faithful to its children as GCF claimed His promises from that year onwards. Everyone is a witness of His love and goodness for the church from the maturity of its workers up to the blessings that the church outreaches’ experience. As the church continued to grow, we are expressing our gratitude for God’s love by reaching out to others, allowing them to experience God’s faithfulness through us. The church is named as Reaching Out Christian Ministries starting year 2008.
