MARRIED MEN CAN NOW BE ORDAINED IN THE CATHOLIC CHURCH 😮⛪

Yes, you heard it right, married men can now be ordained as permanent deacons of the Catholic Church.

This comes after Pope Francis approved the petition of the Catholic Bishops' Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) to establish the Permanent Diaconate in the country, according to a letter from the Holy See's Secretariat of State.

Prior to this new development in the country's largest religion, only a candidate for the priesthood can be a deacon.
