On June 13, at 4:30 PM, family, friends, and loved ones gathered at the Mortuary Chapel of Diocesan Shrine and Parish of Our Lady of Light for a Mass in memory of our dear Ldr. Ophel.

We come together in faith to honor her life and commend her soul to the Lordโ€™s embrace. May the perpetual light shine upon her, and may she rest in peace. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ

Yesterday, June 12, at 6:30 PM, we gathered in prayer as we held a Prayer Service for our beloved alumni leader, Ldr. Ophel.

Together, we offered our prayers, shared cherished memories, and celebrated the life, dedication, and impact she made for Chiro Cainta.

We are deeply saddened by the passing of one of our alumni leaders, Ophelia "Ldr. Ophel" De Guzman.

She was more than just a leader; she was the light that kept the flame of Chiro Cainta burning when it mattered most. She is a huge part of why Chiro Cainta stands still today. We will never forget her dedication reviving and rebuilding Chiro Cainta when we almost lost our way. Because of her, we were able to rise again.

Thank you for your love, your sacrifice, and for being our pillar of strength, Leader. Your legacy will never be forgotten and will forever be treasured in our hearts.

In the wake of the earthquake and tsunami threats in Mindanao, we lift up our Chiro members, leaders, alumni, and community, asking for Godโ€™s protection and strength. We also pray for our fellow Filipinos in the region; may they find courage, healing, and hope during this difficult time.
