Message: 1 Samuel 4:1-22

In 1 Samuel 4, Israel walked into battle carrying the "Ark of the Covenant" hoping the symbol would save them while their hearts remained stubborn and unchanged, and even Eli fell when the full weight of their spiritual drift finally reached him. They wanted the victory of God without the voice of God, the blessing of God without the boundaries of God, and the comfort of religion without the cost of obedience. When the ark was taken, the cry of Ichabod rose, but the truth is the glory had already slipped away the moment they chose ritual over repentance. This passage confronts us with a question that cuts deep: Where is God in your religion? Is He truly directing your steps, shaping your character, convicting your heart, and guiding your choices, or do we sometimes treat Him like an accessory we reach for only when life gets hard? Israel had the right object but the wrong heart, the noise of worship but not the weight of surrender. And that’s where defeat always begins. May we be a church and a people who don’t just hold the symbols of faith but live the substance of it walking daily in reverence, humility, and obedience. Real victory begins not when we carry God’s things into battle, but when we let God carry our hearts back to Him.

Philippians 4:13 reminds us that heaven supplies everything earth cannot. Christ gives us strength that rises above fear. The Holy Spirit gives comfort that stays even in silence. God pours grace into days that feel empty. Scripture is full of verses showing how God supports, carries, and empowers His people. Each one builds on the truth that we are never meant to face life alone. Our weakness is not a setback. It is the perfect place for God to show His power. So when we say “I can do all things through Christ,” we’re really acknowledging that His strength is the reason we can stand, endure, grow, and overcome. 🙏❤️🙌

Message: 1 Corinthians 10:31

Pursuing Excellence begins with a simple command from 1 Corinthians 10:31. Whatever we do, we must do it for the glory of God. This is not a suggestion. It is a clear call for believers to make God the reason, the purpose, and the standard for everything. If something cannot glorify the Lord, it is not worth doing. If something honors Him, then we give it our full effort. This is the heart of excellence. It is not about being the best. It is about giving God our best. It is choosing to serve with sincerity, to work with integrity, and to live with a heart that desires to make Christ known. When a church embraces this verse, our ministries become stronger. Our service becomes meaningful. Our unity grows deeper. Every act of kindness, every prayer, every song, and every small task becomes a way of saying that God deserves honor in all things. Pursuing Excellence means we refuse to settle for half-hearted service. We aim higher because we serve a holy God. And when we offer everything to Him, He turns even the simplest work into something powerful. May our church choose this kind of excellence. May everything we do point clearly to the glory of God, just as the Scripture commands.

Message: Matthew 7:13-27

Genuine Christianity is not about blending in with the crowd or simply knowing the right words to say. Jesus speaks clearly that there are two gates, two paths, two kinds of trees, and two foundations. The narrow gate is not popular, but it leads to life. It requires repentance, humility, and daily obedience. The wide gate is easy and crowded, but it leads to destruction. Christ warns that not everyone who says “Lord, Lord” truly belongs to Him. Religious activity, ministry work, and outward confession are not enough. A genuine believer bears good fruit and does the will of the Father. In the end, storms will reveal the truth. The life built on Christ, grounded in obedience to His Word, will stand firm. Genuine Christianity is not performance. It is a surrendered heart that listens and obeys.

Message: Romans 8:31-39

“Romans 8:31-39 reminds us that if God is for us, nothing can stand against His people. His love carries the church through every trial and gives strength when we feel weak. These verses teach us to stand united, to trust His faithful hand, and to hold on to the truth that no trouble, fear, or power can separate us from the love of Christ. We are covered, protected, and loved always.”

Message: 1 Corinthians 13:1-3

1 Corinthians 13:1-3 reminds us that you can speak beautifully, understand deep truths, and give until it hurts, but if love isn’t at the center, everything loses its true value. Paul shows that words without love are just noise, knowledge without love is empty, and sacrifice without love brings no reward. God isn’t moved by how talented or impressive we look on the outside. He searches the heart. Real faith is proven in how we treat people, how we serve quietly, how we forgive, and how we love even when it’s hard. Without love, everything becomes hollow. But when love leads us, even the smallest act becomes meaningful in the eyes of God.

Message: Galatians 1:1-24

Galatians 1:1-24 shows the backbone of a responsible Christian life. Paul understood his "commission" so clearly because he met Christ in a way that shattered his old life and revealed a calling that no human could give or take away. That’s why his confidence wasn’t arrogance, it was obedience. His "communion" with Christ shaped everything he taught, reminding us that ministry without intimacy becomes empty noise. His "concern" for the gospel was fierce, because he knew that one small lie can poison the whole faith of a church. Scripture shows again and again that God honors those who guard His truth rather than entertain the crowd. So Paul stood "combative" when needed, not out of pride but out of love, fighting for the souls who were being misled. And his "conversion" remains one of the strongest proofs that God delights in redeeming even the most unlikely person. When you take all this together, the message is simple but heavy: responsible Christians know who called them, they stay close to Christ, they care deeply about truth, they stand firm when others drift, and they let their changed life testify that God still transforms people today.

Message: Isaiah 53:4-5

Isaiah 53:4-5 guided our Sunday service as we remembered what Jesus has done for us. He carried our griefs, bore our sorrows, and took the wounds that should have been ours so we could receive peace and healing. This passage teaches us that salvation is not only about forgiveness of sins, but about Christ stepping into our pain and brokenness with love and obedience to the Father. As we worshiped together, we were reminded that every burden we brought before the Lord was already known and carried by Him. Healing may be a process, but the price has already been paid at the cross. This truth calls us to trust Him fully, walk humbly, and live each day in gratitude for His finished work. We praise God for a Spirit-led Sunday and for a Savior who truly understands and restores His people.
