I. Created to Represent God (V1-2)
- as ambassador of Christ, you bear his name,
- we reflect is true nature and his love
(talked about the process of making the silver)

II. Created to creative power (V3-6)
- Consider anything before you say a word
(mention about the 12 disciple of Jesus nga non righteous yet they are chosen)
- Create good relationship

III. Created for Consistency (V7-12)
- consistent on what he does, say, and believe

Managing Conflicts within the Christian Community
James 4:1-10

"To dwell above with the saints in love - that will be glory. But to dwell below with the saints we know - that is another story."

Conflicts inside the Church is real.

I. The Causes of Conflicts (V1)
The real war begins inside, not outside. The heart of the problem is the problem of the heart.
- pride
- insecurity
- jealousy

3 Desires to Conflicts
1. To Have (V2)
You desire but do not have...

The chief end of man is not pleasure or possessions — but to know God and enjoy Him forever.

2. To Feel good (V3)
You ask the wrong motives, that you may spend
Greek word: hedone
"Pleasure becomes the goal of life"

Not every hurt feeling is persecution.
Sometimes God uses discomfort to mature us.

3. To be Number 1
Prov 13:10
Pride leads to arguments

Pride says: "Ministry is dangerous when identity becomes position.

James says: Pride creates conflict vertically and horizontally.

Il. The Cure for Conflicts (V6)
"God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble." - James 4:6

1. Submit to God
Peace with others starts with surrender to God.

2. Resist the Devil (V7)
James 4:7 "Resist the devil, and he will flee from you."

3.Draw near to God (V8)
"Come near to God and He will come near to you

4.Humble ourselves before others (V10)
One of the hardest sentences in any language is: "I am sorry."
